Picked this place simply because of its 4.6 goggle rate, and we were not disappointed. The Rustico pizza was full of flavours and of chewy texture. We ordered a lasagne and a salad and all came to the table at the right temperature. Went on a weekday after 1330 in April and we were the only table.

What’s made a different at this place to others similars, it is the attention of all staff, they are really focus in trying to give you a unique service. Pizza was very tasty and freshly made. Nice place to visit again.

The lasagne was very soft and soggy – very poor . Bolrgnese was very poor , I’d expect much better if frozen from supermarket. Just plain tomatoe
sauce with a powdery tasteless meat . Really suprised how low quality it was. I got extra Parmesan in a pot and it had no flavour . Really inferior to your basic Parmesan in a supermarket . May have pir out me off visiting Italian restrains for a while. No where near as good as my own cooking .

Rustico Italiano is hands down the best Italian pizza in Hastings. I would like to start with how wonderful the ambience is when you enter this family owned restaurant. As soon you walk through the door one of the staff will greet you with the widest smile and help you get seated as soon as possible even if the restaurant is busy the wait time is not much. The staff are welcoming and their service is quite fast. I have been to this restaurant several times and have not even one thing to complain about the food or their portion sizes as it’s sufficient and every time I bite into their pizzas It’s a foodgasmic moment for me. Even though there are a lot of choices on the menu I feel it’s a simple one.
I ordered the classic Neapolitana pizza, the Aubergine lasagna, buffalo mozzarella salad, fresh bread w olive and chilli oil ( you have got to get this trust me! )
It’s a comforting place to enjoy with friends and family and one thing is for sure, you’ll never leave this place hungry. A definite recommendation from my side. Cheers.

Two extremely tired hikers… exhausted and hungry…walking towards the station… aroma of fresh baked pizzas fill the air… what do they do?
Well offcourse hop in and order two individual pizzas and hog!
Was greated by a cheerful Emma!
They were baking fresh hot pizzas. I got a Vegetariana and my friend got Pepperoni. They have an offer running… if you take away it’s £9.50 for a 12inch pizza!
So so worth it! Was so tempted to try the tiramisu but skipped it so that I don’t guilt trip later. But by just tasting the pizza I assure everything they make is with love!
The other people in the restaurant had pasta and if you looked at their empty plates you would know how yummy it was!
