We got spinach artichoke dips,side salads and kitchen sink pizza.The pizza we ordered reminded me of the pizza we had in Europe very fresh,good flavor with a good blend of meats and toppings. The spinach artichoke deep at first glance looked to have a lack of cheese but when you tasted it they had chosen a very flavorful cheese that was terrific we love how they did it most the dip we had is very cheesy with low flavor. The side salads had a home made cheesy crotuns that were excellent and im not a cruton person. And to add with the compliment on the salad my wife doesnt really like black olives but the ones they chose were not overpowering and or bitter. We will definitely recommend this plave to all the travellers out there!!

We came in this evening for a dinner with our grandkids, from the reviews. We ordered three appetizers, they were all very good, the spinach dip was exceptional. The two pizzas came out a little while later and they were also top-notch. My wife’s Broccoli chicken Alfredo dish was very good. Our granddaughters calzone was also very good. The Complementary birthday cannoli was also Delicious. Overall, we know now why this restaurant gets top-notch reviews. Would definitely recommend.

We were looking for a well-reviewed pizza place in mid-Missouri that wasn’t part of a national chain. Preferably a one-off with its own unique approach to pizza. Looks like we found it in La Monte!
Having driven 45 minutes to get there, we ordered two pizzas for pickup. We arrived a little early but they said we were good to go. Both were the Cowboy pizzas with the various meats. Both were fantastic, with one a little less crispy – probably because we showed up too early. Loaded with great meats and cheeses, it met with rave reviews from all that got a slice.
We also tried the garlic cheese bread. Served with a sweet marinara sauce, it was also excellent. It disappeared in no time!
So the next time you are heading to the lake on Highway 50, definitely pick up a pie (or three) to go. You won’t regret it!

Co-Worker told me about this little pizza place. Decided to try it and I’ll be damned! Place could easily compete with any place I’ve been to in PA, NJ or NYC. Food was awesome, fresh and really good. Cannoli was the best I’ve ever had. Light, flaky, crispy and fresh. I’m glad I stopped here.

Stopped by Rustic Roots for a meal after a long day of travel and coming back from KC…food was OUTSTANDING! Sooo delicious and far exceeded any expectations I had. All freshly made right in front of you with FRESH ingredients! Hot from the oven and still steaming as you take a bite. We ordered Garlic cheese bread, the chicken & broccoli Alfredo, a Cuban panini, and a 9” ‘white satin’ Alfredo pizza (the pizza dough is superb and the perfect blend of crunch & airy). Alllll AH-maz-ING and almost finished in one sitting! 😉 Wish I could rate 100 stars!
