My boyfriend and I were staying a couple days close by and was looking for a place to get breakfast. The prices were ok. My sandwich was good for the price but my boyfriend got the chipped beef and it was not good at all. He took two bites and sent it back. We were then told they use chipped beef from a can. I never heard such a thing. He did get the scrapple and it was very good. I would say, they need to take the chipped beef off the menu or start making it from scratch.

Relaxing atmosphere. It feels like you are in a small home town diner. Food is good and reasonably priced. The ladies working are friendly. When we drove up the lights looked dim, but it was definitely worth it to go in and check it out. Lots of cute pictures of cows and other livestock. I’d definitely recommend it and go again. We all ate well.

This was the best place to stop. It was like a scene from a great road movie. The cafe is excellent with its decorative features. The food is awesome. The service is friendly. The coffee was tasty and plentiful. All in all a wonderful experience on our visit to the USA.

Finally found myself driving past here again. Stopped in for lunch. We had a bacon cheeseburger and a Western omelette. Served with friendliness in a quantity atmosphere. Value priced, simple comfort foods. The following is my previous review notes: This is my kind of place. Small town diner worth the added detour since the access to 81 is limited at this point. We stopped in for coffee and a snack. The pies are homemade and excellent!! I will make a reason to come here again someday, hopefully soon.

The eggs were burnt and flavorless and so were the home fries. The service was slow and our server made absolutely no effort to be friendly. I hate leaving 1 star reviews, but this was just such a poor experience. I will not be coming back here, ever.

My wife and I stopped here for the first time. It is a mom and pop dinner. Excellent in everything!! We pinned it for future travel. Great place and atmosphere . We had chicken and biscuits and meat loaf. Big portions! Very good!

This was not where we expected to get breakfast that day. We saw signs from the highway for another restaurant and were trying to get there.

But My wife saw wooden chickens, and so we stopped in here instead.

I’m glad we did. The breakfast was awesome, the service was great, and although it’s just a little place, there’s quite an atmosphere of farm life around you.

They have a lot of knick knacks and wooden decorations around and it felt very homey and fun.

Great pit stop for a bite! The chicks at the counter were egg-cellent, as were our omlettes. My cousin got the pierogis and hasn’t stopped raving about them! We will be back!
