The best Friday fish fry around, I will come back to try more of the menu. I also have had the pizza! It was the perfect crust we are all seaking, and the sauce was homemade. It was phenomenal! I can’t wait for the perfect leftover cold pizza for breakfast! The food and drinks and service were excellent. The owners are the nicest and hard-working people who greet all the guests with a smile. Certainly a gem in the North Woods that you can count on with great food and service.

Eaten here many times but this time experience fell below expectations. Although food was ok, never asked if I wanted a refill when food was brought to table and glass was empty. Also when check was brought, never asked if we wanted anything else. Also, poor attitude when I paid the check. Would like to offer a better rating but service this time was well below par!

First visit to Rustic Pines Pub – just 10 minutes West of Minocqua on Hwy 70. Cute Northwoods decor. New bartender Kim, took great care of us – taking time to introduce herself and welcome us to Rustic Pines Pub. She made an excellent Wisconsin classic – Brandy Old Fashioned. I had the Mushroom Swiss Burger smothered in brown gravy and fries and she tried the evening special – butterfly shrimp dinner and fries. Food was excellent – above average “bar food” for sure. Had to deduct a star for something simple – charging for an extra cocktail sauce seemed a little unnecessary. Nonetheless, Kim made it a fun visit and the food was delicious. Enjoy, we did. Oh, FYI – they only take cash, no credit cards or checks but they do have an ATM on site.

A popular place to stop for some food and a beer so it can be busy at times but if you stop on off hours you’ll find a table and be seated right away. Regardless of that the pizza is great, and the kids and us left all left satisfied and happy we stopped.

Li almost gave up searching for good pizza in the Northwoods. My wife ordered a pizza from RUSTIC PINES PUB and WOW amazing pizza. Couple days later after thinking about it I ordered another to see if it was a fluke. Had one slice and called the owner and told her, her pizza is the best I’ve ever had. If you have to drive and hour it’s way worth it. GREAT JOB RUSTIC PINES PUB!!
