We found The Rustic Melt today, and we are glad we did. I ordered the Mac and bacon loaded, and when I say it was the cheesiesiest, flavorful
and most wonderful grilled cheese I’ve ever had, I mean it. The cheese stretch was awesome to see. My girlfriend had the turkey pear brie, and it was on the other side of the spectrum. Lighter and refreshing, but just as delicious. I will definitely have this place book marked for whenever we visit again.

A great food cart! Had the bacon mac cheese sandwich and it was fantastic. Loads of cheese and a great combination of macaroni and bacon. Pretzel sticks were large and great dunked in the cheese sauce. Seating area is outdoors but covered and heated. Best part is I still have half a sandwich left for tomorrow!!

The brisket sandwich that I ate was AWESOME. The bread was so crispy and seasoned well. The meat was well cooked and seasoned, and the portion size was okay for the price. With that being said, I don’t think I’m in the wrong to ask the cashier guy how big the sandwich is when they have the stones to ask $15.00 for a sandwich. When I asked this, the guy said, in quite a condescending tone “it’s sandwich sized”. I was surprised by this answer cause I was more interested in, I don’t know, the amount of meat? If it’s a whole or half sandwich? If it’s stacked well or not? I don’t know, maybe I’m over reacting, but I’d expect a bit more friendliness from someone who charges $15.00 for a sandwich and then turns his iPad around for a tip. To add insult to injury, I returned to the counter to ask for some napkins, and you’d have thought that I asked the lady to sacrifice her first born child.
Again, not the end of the world, but just kind of stupid. At least the food was pretty good.

I had the turkey pear brie, one of the best sandwiches i’ve ever had, hands down. My friend barely had time to dig into her food by the time i had finished eating mine, will make the trip back here to eat!!

Tried today’s special, and it was well worth the visit!
Nice and hot, with plenty of melted cheese and good meat for my dollar.

Hands down the best grilled cheese I’ve had. I ordered the tomato soup and it was such a great pairing to the grilled cheese. Truly tasty, great space to sit and eat, and the service was fantastic. Would highly recommend!

Owner wouldn’t stop flirting with me using the business account for this place even after i repeatedly asked him to stop and said he reached out because i “kept viewing” his stories… yes to see the menu specials. Had to block and now I can never feel comfortable to eat here. Horrible business practice

Did halvsies with someone else. Shared the bacon apple cheddar melt and the mac and bacon melt. They were both delicious. We got rocking chairs overlooking the creek, under a tree and the person in the food truck brought our food to us! It was a great experience.

I rave about this food truck. OMG it is absolutely delicious. The melts are to die for. Staff is extremely friendly and personable. The selection of food and drinks are great. There’s also a nice big area to sit in that’s covered and with heaters, for the cooler months!
