Honestly not worth what you pay for
$11 for a chicken sandwich with a toasted bun, no lettuce no cheese no nothing.. we added lettuce and didnt get charged for it but basically anything else on that sandwich and theyd charge you, 2 dollars for bacon for example.
So a chicken sandwich with bacon on it would cost you 13 whopping dollars, and the real kicker itd be just the sandwich no fries no chips even NO side
Mind you the chicken was decent chicken but the server didnt even ask if we wanted anything added onto it..
I got a black and bleu burger
Wasn’t bad but idk if I didnt get the wings and mozzarella sticks for a side id be severely hungry still
Honestly service was decent, attenitive and friendly so that’s a plus
I dont know we’ve tried this place when they were doing the pasta specials and things and was rather impressed but now it just feels like doing whatever they can to stay afloat during the golf off season

We weren’t even acknowledged when we first walked in. We were the ONLY people in the restaurant. The bartender/waitress was incredibly rude right off the bat. She brought us our menus and practically slammed them down. She asked what we wanted for drinks and when my elderly father asked for coffee, she scoffed and half rolled her eyes. She said very rudely and with an attitude “well that’s gonna take me a few minutes” and walked away shaking her head. We immediately felt uncomfortable even being in the restaurant anymore, and felt like we were burdening her. God forbid she do her job, and do it with kindness and a good attitude. She ignored us when the golfers came in and neglected to come take our order. We ended up just walking out. This woman needs to be fired. We will definitely not be returning, and we will be sure to spread the word about how unwelcoming this place is. This was truly one of the rudest waitresses we’ve EVER had. Absolutely disgusting service. I would give negative stars if possible.

I have been to the golf course many times because my sister and her husband live in Iola, WI.
We went to visit this weekend and went to the Rustic Grill ( the restaurant and bar at the course).
The service and meal was wonderful and reasonably priced.
Apparently they have decided to be open all year for lunch and dinner this season instead of shutting down for winter.
If you haven’t stopped in, you should. The special was prime rib and it was cooked to perfection.
The menu is simple, which makes it easy to make a choice.
Please visit them, it will definitely make you happy

Went there for fish around 8pm Friday before gun deer. Walleye was good and cheese curds were awesome. Our biggest gripe was the outrageous $8-$10 per rail cocktail. We are not in Milwaukee or Green Bay $8-10 is ridiculous for iola Wi. The atmosphere is not worth that price.

Wings are very good and not skimpy on sauce. Smash burgers are super tasty. Lily is a delightful young lady who made our experience so enjoyable besides the good eats.
