My family and I have eaten here probably hundreds of times over the years. Food is always very good, service is great and fast. They have an awesome AWESOME tenderloin – if you haven’t had it – you are missing out. Those things should be in the news. Takes up a whole plate by itself. Not kidding – get one!

What a diamond in the rough. A truly special place. Over 80 years of experience. Add in an open kitchen, huge portions, fair prices, friendly staff and rustic but amazing atmosphere, and you have a place worth taking a detour to experience. I love the Rustic. And yes, they have a true, honest to God pork tenderloin. They way He intended.

The waitress was friendly but the food wasn’t very good. It wasn’t very tasty, they didn’t season the burgers at all. The fries were decent. And Do Not use the bathrooms!

My wife and I stopped in last night for supper and couldn’t have been more pleased. She had the breaded tenderloin which was big enough for two and the onion rings which were some of the best I have ever tasted. I had the fish with a salad and crinkle fries. Wow is all I can say. Excellent food for a old bar type atmosphere. The staff was excellent. Well worth the 25 mile drive.
