This little local pizzeria is a true neighborhood gem. The customer service is friendly and welcoming, making you feel appreciated from the moment you walk in. The pizza is consistently delicious, with fresh ingredients and great flavor whether you choose a 12-inch or a 16-inch pie. Their calzones are a standout. Perfectly baked, generously filled, and packed with flavor, they’re clearly a specialty done right. It’s the kind of place that reminds you why supporting local matters. Great food, good service, and a spot we’ll definitely keep coming back to.

Truly our favorite pizza place — ever. The killer cheese dip is a must-try, and their pizzas are incredible with tons of unique pairings (they’ll customize anything, too). We always get the Chicken Pesto and Round Up Calzones — both amazing. The food and vibes are unmatched, and the staff are always super friendly. We bring all our friends and family here, and everyone loves it. Could honestly go on and on about how good this place is.

First time stopping in this evening, and the food and service were truly exceptional. The best pizza by far that we’ve found in SLC. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, and you can tell how much love they pour into their food and service. Definitely gained some new regulars this evening, we will be returning frequently.
They offer full pizzas, or half & half flavors as pictured. Can’t wait to try many more of their menu options. They also have a kids menu which was a wonderful surprise.

I had been meaning to check this place out for a while and turned out it was worth the wait. First off, the restaurant offers delicious Vegetarian Lasagna that I found to be just the right portion size for me. I recommend not to skip ‘The Killer Cheese Dip’. This restaurant is a nice cozy place that will surprise you with the numerous options it has to offer (including a half-and-half pizza and Calzone!). My search for a place in SLC offering good Lasagne seems to have come to a satisfactory end.

Loved! The tomato sauce was a little bland but the calzone had so much cheese it was ok. The artichoke dip was amazing. The server was the best part. She was so sweet and helpful. I have a high startle response so I hope I didn’t offend her, every time she walked behind me I jumped really high. Can’t wait to come back to Salt Lake again. Great date night choice!

We stopped to give Rusted Sun Pizzeria a try last night for New Year Eve. We tried The Killer cheese dip with bread sticks and a large pizza. I am so glad we took the recommendation to give it a try. The food was amazing, hot, fresh and made to order. The customer service was really good and attentive. So glad we gave it a shot! This place was hopping last night, I totally understand why. Give them a try, they serve more than pizza, they do calazones, salads, lasange. I highly recommend them. Kudos Rusted Sun Pizzeria, we will be back.

I came here specifically for their veggie calzone, and it was delicious! The veggies were fresh and the texture of the cheese and the crust were amazing. Makes me want to try the pizza. Also the ambience of the restaurant was cute and felt very homey! Definitely a gem in SLC.

Excellent pizza! Thin crust with some nice air pockets, and a crispy bottom. The sauce was perfect, super rustic and well made. Cheese was also fantastic on the pizza; on the side they even gave me some freshly grated Parmesan, rather than the stuff that comes in the packets too! I order the same thing at every pizza place, a large pepperoni pie, and this is one of the best I’ve had in Utah. Portnoy would be proud

One of the best pizzerias in Salt Lake City hands down. No matter what you order, Pizza, Calzone, Lasagna or even a salad, the quality is always there.
Thin crust pizza something I really appreciate as a European.
They also have a small variety of local beers available.
Atmosphere is quite interesting, like going back to the 70s, something that I have appreciate it about this place. But is always clean.
Service is top notch and plenty of parking around.
If you’re looking for quality Pizza, this is one of the top 3 pizzerias around downtown SLC.
