Hidden gem in Alsip IL. Pizza is very good but they now sell slices and have lunch specials. The slices are fantastic and very reasonable. I had the meatball lunch special today and by my surprise it was really really good and I’m picky with my meatballs. Very reasonable at $9.95 you get a meatball sandwich, fries and a pop. Guys behind counter and cooking are cool as hell. I’ve eaten here 4 days in a row lol stop by and give this place a try you will not be disappointed.

I decided to give this place a try after reading so many good reviews. I was highly disappointed. The pictures on Google reviews looked extremely different to what I received. The pizza was dry – no sauce to be seen and has a cardboard like texture. I would not recommend this place if you’re looking to try something new. It was not enjoyable whatsoever.

If you need a Classics Chicago style pizza, I guess people call it tavern style now, you need to check out Russo’s. It’s everything you want in a Chicago pizza, thin crust, loads of cheese so much sausage, and cooked just how it should be slightly carmalized and bubbly. And they even serve it the classic bags. It’s a must atop for anyone needing a pizza break if in the area, and definitely a destination stop for pizza heads anywhere.

First of all they actually deliver to me here in Blue Island,unlike another place closer to me. Russo’s has the best food. The pizza is good with a wide variety of toppings. But I have to say that the Fritz is my all time favorite. You can get a cheese or sausage and cheese. Additional ingredients are only

Tried Russo’s cause I’ve been looking for new pizza places near Crestwood. Ordered a large sausage, green pepper and onion pizza. Not a bad thin crust pie. It was a little over cooked, but still pretty tasty. They don’t skimp on the ingredients which is also a plus. If it wasn’t for the little bit of over cook I’d give it 5 stars. Sauce was pretty standard. I like a little bit of a sweeter sauce this was more traditional. I’ll definitely order from here again.

These folks do Chicago tavern style the way it should ALWAYS be done – thin and crackery crust with a nice brown on the top side – sauce isn’t overly sweet and the ingredients are top quality

Without a doubt Russo’s is our favorite local pizza joint. Consistency is sometimes hard to find with pizza. Russo’s is always consistent… fresh ingredients, cooked exactly how we like it (a little on the well done side), very reasonably priced and the service is always friendly!

Just tried these guys out for the first time today. Let me start off by saying customer service was great while ordering which is a plus because that’s where it all starts. Second the prices are pretty good for the amount of food received and on top of all that the food taste and freshness is excellent. Pizza really is thin as advertised and cooked to perfection. I ordered quite a few items and everything was great. I will definitely be ordering from here again and I will recommend them to family and friends. Keep it up guys!
