From the customer service, to the food, this place is literally 10/10 for me. We order at the counter, and being that it was our first time eating there, the customer service was amazing. Helpful and patient as we decided to choose and think about what we were going to eat. We got a 1/2 & 1/2, Grandma’s Pie, and pepperoni and bacon. We got drinks but they weren’t good. They were flat. That’s the only downfall.
We got the garlic knots as well. Everything was really good. Super amazing. So good, that I ordered again the next day. But from
A different location, that’s closer to me. That was a horrible idea, as they did me completely wrong and when I asked them to fix it, they told me I would need to order a new pizza. I asked for my money back and I went back to the Sugarland location. I called ahead and I ordered what I had the night before.
As I called and placed a to go order, the representative made me knowledgeable of what I was ordering and making sure that’s what I wanted, as it was only sauce, cheese and basil. I told him that was fine. It looked just like the picture on the website. I’ll put the pizza from the other location here as well so you can see. I ended up getting the buffalo ranch and that was equally as good. I would definitely give that a 10/10 as well.

I don’t recommend the pizza

Chicken Rustica 2/5
Tomato & Burrata Cheese 3/5

The dough was not tasty (most good pizza will make you want to finish them but this one I couldn’t)

They also skim on the cheese for example there’s only a few slices of chicken and some leaves I’m left with a big chunk of bread I couldn’t bring myself to finish it.

Nice small quiet spot for a good bite.
I got a medium Italian Market. It was as described, it was baked to perfection, it tasted great. Will visit this place again.

We came over here after our beloved Corelli’s restaurant closed today. We normally order pizza from the Russo’s in Richmond, so we were familiar with their pizza, but this was a first visit here.

Cute place tucked away unfortunately, fairly pricey for what you get, but maybe this is the way post covid. Everything was supposed to be prepared fresh and I believe it was.

You seat yourself and walk up to order, then your items are brought out.

We bought 2 pasta entrees and got 4 pieces of foccacia bread for free, 1 cucumber salad with 2 drinks and one cannoli. 65+ tip. Ouch.

The pesto chicken pasta was lovely, seasoned well and scratched my itch for creamy chicken pesto. It would have been nice with a side salad for 1.40-2.50, but only $10 salads were offered. The stuffed Manicotti was a small portion, not plated well and (maybe we chose wrong), but the marinara was like plain tomatoe sauce. Perhaps it would have been better with alfredo. The foccacia was a nice touch compared to garlic bread, but fairly under seasoned. Sadly the cucumber salad was warm, with over ripe cucumbers and not enough vinegar. It was like it had been sitting on the counter for an hour. I personally like to add a bit of lemon and vinegar to brighten my salads and definitely serve it cold. 😉 The cannoli was crispy, and filled beautifully, we weren’t disappointed.

We came for a corelli’s experience and although it didn’t meet expectations, I think this little bistro infront of Sam’s club has potential. A huge step up from Pepperoni’s pizza place.

Special mention. The gentleman waitstaff at the counter was impressive, helpful and kind. The woman who served us, ignored us as we walked in (she was sweeping), so we got our own menus and decided to walk up to the counter. She brought our order out and returned once to ask if my daughter needed more to drink. After our lunch was delivered and we ate, we didn’t get the canolli, so I walked back up to get that and a to-go box. The gentlemen said something to her and she brought out the items. No smile, or small talk. I was not impressed with her service, sadly and I hope the 20% tip I paid went to the gentleman at the counter.

To me there is no excuse to ignore customers who walk in to your establishment if you are the ONLY person around. At least smile and say hello. She would not be on my payroll for long.

Overall, Thank you Russo’s for a nice lunch, I hope to try other dishes and desserts and are hopeful to be pleasantly suprised by your fresh Italian menu.

My husband loves NY pizza and it is very close to that. The atmosphere is very nice. The staff is excellent. I ordered a pizza over the phone close to closing. They got the pizza done and I made it there with 15 minutes to spare. The staff were very nice as soon as I walked in. I told him I was running behind and he understood and welcomed me in by name. Customer service is number 1 with them.
