Waiter Caesar was welcoming & attentive to our party of 4 today 10/5/25
Ordered the Chicken Florentine Pasta and it was very good. Hubby got his favorite Create your own Calzone with pepperoni, bell pepper, ricotta cheese. Mozzarella cheese is included. Comes with marinara sauce and he was in heaven.
If you like Italian food, this is the place to go.
So much food we took home leftovers – for lunch tomorrow. We will be back.

We came to Russo’s in Greatwood for a school event and were blown away by the food! Everything we tried was delicious, and the wine selection was surprisingly great for a casual spot. Pro tip: ask for the shrimp scampi flatbread — it’s not on the menu right now, but it’s incredible! The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was perfect for gathering with friends or family. We can’t wait to come back.

This is our go-to place for pizza! No one makes a better pepperoni pizza around these parts. I am from the northeast and really miss the pizza in Boston, Philly, and New York. I was so happy to discover Russo’s. They have great deals. They also have very good soup, salads, meatballs, and appetizers (I especially like their two eggplant appetizers and the bruschetta). The pizza crust is delicious! I always ask for the pizza to cook well done to get a nice crisp on the crust.

Our kids have Tae Kwon do next door and we often eat here. We come here even though there is one closer to our home on grand parkway because the wife specifically likes this location and service. Last week we came an hour before closing with 12 people and the server Anthony took amazing care of us. Anthony is on point with everything every time we visit and I hope management recognizes this. The food is always on point as well so kudos to the kitchen team as well! The Greek and Caesar salad are amazing. Pizza and calamari are great as well!

Russo’s Pizza: The Real Deal That Keeps This Working Mom Coming Back

As a busy mom juggling kids’ activities and a full-time job, I don’t always have the energy to cook a homemade meal (even though I want that kind of food on the table). That’s where Russo’s Pizza comes in. Whenever I’m not cooking and need takeout, I skip the overpriced delivery services and call Russo’s directly. Once you try their pizza, you get it. You’re not just paying for food; you’re paying for real, fresh ingredients that actually taste like they’re supposed to.

The dough? Made in-house with unbleached flour (not the overprocessed stuff from chain pizzas that leaves you feeling bloated and foggy). Your body knows the difference. The sauce is bright, tangy, and clearly simmered with care. And the cheese? Real mozzarella (no waxy, filler-packed “cheese product” here). Every bite is full of flavor, not just grease and regret.

We’ve tried nearly everything on the menu, and it’s all delicious:
– Pasta Alfredo: Rich, creamy, with the perfect kiss of garlic and Parmesan.
– Meatballs: Meaty, juicy, and packed with robust flavor. I order extra every time.
– Wings: Fresh, meaty, and seasoned just right (crispy outside, tender inside).

But the pizza is the star. Fresh toppings, melty cheese, and that golden crust (it’s the kind of slice that makes your kids go quiet for a full 30 seconds). Magic.

It’s become our go-to for supporting local and still getting that “someone cooked this with love” feeling without me having to lift a finger.

And for parties? Hands down the crowd favorite. Skip the cheap, fake pizza from the big chains. Your guests will notice (and thank you).

Today, the owner Ben personally delivered our order. Smiling, friendly, and clearly passionate about what he does. He even told me about their on-site pizza-making classes for families. I’m already planning to bring the kids (and out-of-town guests) for a fun night out where we make dinner and don’t have to clean up. Win-win.

If you haven’t tried Russo’s yet, do it. One bite and you’ll see: this isn’t just pizza. It’s real food, made by real people, for real life.

See you soon!

The food and the atmosphere were really nice! Although, the service could’ve been better, I would go here on my breaks and progressively the service got less welcoming/pleasant. The very last time I went, the server was closing my tab out and asked me if I was paying cash or card. When I said card, he dropped he’s happy expression and just tossed the tap pay machine on the table and walked away. It was very
rude, dry, and completely unnecessary.

Omg the food is fresh I truly recommend this location. The staff is super nice but the pesto pasta is the best. If you are in sugar land don’t hesitate. We ordered food for our Christmas party and it delicious Ben made sure that the event was a success. Truly great service

Pizza is probably one of the better pizza spots in the area. Service was fast. Prices are very high. For a 16 inch pizza it was $38 bucks. So be aware.
