Ordered the Chicken Florentine Pasta and it was very good. Hubby got his favorite Create your own Calzone with pepperoni, bell pepper, ricotta cheese. Mozzarella cheese is included. Comes with marinara sauce and he was in heaven.
If you like Italian food, this is the place to go.
So much food we took home leftovers – for lunch tomorrow. We will be back.
As a busy mom juggling kids’ activities and a full-time job, I don’t always have the energy to cook a homemade meal (even though I want that kind of food on the table). That’s where Russo’s Pizza comes in. Whenever I’m not cooking and need takeout, I skip the overpriced delivery services and call Russo’s directly. Once you try their pizza, you get it. You’re not just paying for food; you’re paying for real, fresh ingredients that actually taste like they’re supposed to.
The dough? Made in-house with unbleached flour (not the overprocessed stuff from chain pizzas that leaves you feeling bloated and foggy). Your body knows the difference. The sauce is bright, tangy, and clearly simmered with care. And the cheese? Real mozzarella (no waxy, filler-packed “cheese product” here). Every bite is full of flavor, not just grease and regret.
We’ve tried nearly everything on the menu, and it’s all delicious:
– Pasta Alfredo: Rich, creamy, with the perfect kiss of garlic and Parmesan.
– Meatballs: Meaty, juicy, and packed with robust flavor. I order extra every time.
– Wings: Fresh, meaty, and seasoned just right (crispy outside, tender inside).
But the pizza is the star. Fresh toppings, melty cheese, and that golden crust (it’s the kind of slice that makes your kids go quiet for a full 30 seconds). Magic.
It’s become our go-to for supporting local and still getting that “someone cooked this with love” feeling without me having to lift a finger.
And for parties? Hands down the crowd favorite. Skip the cheap, fake pizza from the big chains. Your guests will notice (and thank you).
Today, the owner Ben personally delivered our order. Smiling, friendly, and clearly passionate about what he does. He even told me about their on-site pizza-making classes for families. I’m already planning to bring the kids (and out-of-town guests) for a fun night out where we make dinner and don’t have to clean up. Win-win.
If you haven’t tried Russo’s yet, do it. One bite and you’ll see: this isn’t just pizza. It’s real food, made by real people, for real life.
