Excellent place to dine at, small cosy place, with the idea of having tapas style dishes. Good for people who want to order small meals and different dishes. Ordered Stir-fried rice noodle with chicken, eggs, tofu, shallots, carrot & peanuts, beef curry in red sauce, and the chilli chips. All three tapas were fantastic full of flavour and made perfectly. The place was clean and service was fantastic. The proprietor adds a 8.3% service charge, which is optional, I just wish they would let people decide for themselves what to give, if they choose to, within the restaurant it can be difficult for some people to ask for it to be removed. To be fair they did desrve the service charge.

Absolutely gorgeous Thai tapas, near to Marks & Spencer / Primark end of town. Came with my friend for her birthday and we really enjoyed it. Jade was amazing service and we had 5 small / medium plates to share. Gorgeous food, good value and very cosy. We will be back.

The food was excellent, the staff were friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere inside was great. We ordered six tapas between us (they suggest 2–3 per person), which was the perfect amount. We were only in Chester for the day but will definitely be back to try more.

Lovely Thai tapas, portions perfect and food really tasty and great price, restaurant is very cosy with great atmosphere great for groups or couples. Staff really friendly and Melika was very friendly and made the visit special. Highly recommended if in Chester

Hard not to be sceptical of a 4.9 review but this place is great. Good vibes, very cold beer and top food. The steak salad and massaman curries a highlight. 5 dishes plus carbs about right!

Absolutely lovely Thai restaurant in Chester. Food is first class! I wouldn’t hesitate on going back as the portions were just enough. I had a duck dish, a chicken dish and a pork dish. All packed with flavour. Only downside was the Christmas music playing in November but I’ll let it slide as it was brilliant. Will definitely be back.

This was our first visit to Russell’s Thai Tapas and I can safely say we will be returning. A lovely little restaurant, amazing food with plenty of choice. Very well priced and Archie, our host was very friendly. The only reason I didn’t score the atmosphere higher was because we were the only people in, but this did not take away from the overall experience and enjoyment. Excellent place for a few dishes to pick at or an intimate evening meal.
