You’re doing it again and before you know it, you’re going to default and eat something you’ll regret.
So- stop scrolling and comparing the neverending options right the heck now.
This is where you should go.
Here’s why but I won’t take too long-
Went around 12:45 on a weekday and was able to get a seat at the bar immediately.
Everyone was super friendly and the service was perfect. My server, Josie (you should ask for her) even NAILED my half sweet/half unsweet tea (which rarely happens… It’s a skill of care). She’s incredible. No notes.
THE FOOD. OMG OMG THE FOOD.
Not to brag but, I’ve been eating all my life. Even with that much experience, this unexpectedly amazing menu item named “The Greek” counts as one of the most perfectly concocted, portioned, and presented dishes I’ve ever encountered. Of course the egg was perfect. Of course there were exactly the right number of kalamata olives bordering the plate. Yes the avocado was the ripest most perfect one ever and idk how they do that. Yes… It was absolutely delicious.
I was happy that from where I sat at the bar, I was able to see right into the kitchen window.
This food was
so
freaking
good,
I used the notebook I brought to do work to instead draw a big “10/10” on a full page so I could hold it up to the kitchen team. I did it. I did hold up my notebook like your mom did in the stands when you played middle school soccer.
No shame.
When you go (and ask for Josie to be your server) and when they do a great job like I know they will, do me a solid and try to slip in something that says 10/10. Let’s make it a thing.
So yeah… That’s it. Please enjoy the cinematic video I attached and I’m not sorry that it was already half-eaten at that point.
This restaurant is just a 10 all around. The atmosphere is so cute and friendly. I absolutely loved the pink and green theme. The staff were very welcoming and went above and beyond to provide a positive experience.
I don’t know if I caught the name of my wonderful server correctly I think it was Nell. But what a kind lady. Gave me great recommendations on what to try. I had eggs Pontchartrain (literally so fire) alligator sausage (helll yessss) and an andouille sausage cake situation that was heavenly.
I’m traveling from out of state and needed to give this wonderful place a try. Stop by whether you’re a tourist or a local. This food will not disappoint!
I got the fresh fruit and banana waffle. It was exactly what I expected. The blueberries, strawberries, and bananas on top of a soft Belgian waffle was perfect, and I chose a side of bacon for a salty element. The bacon was fully cooked but not crispy, just as I requested. My wife got the chocolate chip waffle which was equally excellent. The coffee was on point, too.
The service this day was not the best and not regular, but maybe this lady was new. The place was packed so someone new could be frazzled.
We will be back.
