Feeling angry!!!! Went to the Russell and Pub Restaurent for a nice valentine breakfast. We sat down to eat and two other couples came in and sat down beside us for breakfast. We waited almost an hr for our breakfast while the other two couples got thir food first. Thr other couple thought we had already eaten and felt bad. They came to apolize so we figured they would pay for our breakfast no we paid full price. Never going back. They weren’t busy when we were there.
My friend posted this on Facebook i just want other people to read her story.I can’t believe that people could be like that.No excuse for any business to not at least compensate them for having to waste an hour of their time. Very good breakfast! Coffee was good and they were definitely generous on the bacon. Our server was very nice as well we will definitely be going back. They have a lot of stuff to pick from on their menu. Opens at 8 AM everyday 🙂

Worst breakfast EVER. Home fries had a hair in them. The beans looked like they were left uncovered to dry out in a pot overnight on the stove. Toast was not fresh or warm. Omelet was barely ok. We paid $38 for two plates of slop. The waitress was chewing gum and gossiping with another client the whole time we were there. WE WILL NEVER RETURN.

I decided to order a pizza for pickup instead of using any of the local ‘takeout’ options, and while it did cost more than I expected (takeout pizza is usually half the price of real pizza), I was BLOWN away by how good it was. I was planning on saving some for supper but now I don’t know if it will last, haha. Good job guys! Love the sauce!

Great breakfast spot and kind staff. Food was awesome. I got a traditional breakfast and added onions, fried, to my breakfast potatoes. So good.

Awesome food amazing service and good prices. Will be back again when in the area. I had the soup of the day chicken rice and was just like grandma cooking. Pizza was larger than I expected and very flavourful.

We went there on valentines for breakfast waited almost an hr for our breakfast to come out. They weren’t that busy because everybody was already eating. When we went to sit down the tables were empty beside us. The two couples came in and got their breakfasts first. We seemed puzzled why are they getting theirs first when we have been sitting here first. The couple felt bad beside us they thought we had already eaten we said no. So my husband got up and checked to find out where it was. Manager came over to apologize. So when it was time to pay the bill they only gave us 10 percent after waiting that length of time and it even coming over after to check on us except for a coffee refill. We will not be back….bad service by manager giving us only 10 percent when we should have had it covered by them…we are not looking for a handout just bad management.

Average restaurant for breakfast, we’ve eaten here many times over the years, not a lot of vegan options as this is the growing trend. Coffee is good & serve staff are efficient & friendly. Would like to see more plant based options with protein.

It is a well established family run business with a lot of food options. Most reviews don’t describe the roasted potatoes but they are definitely worth a try. Yummy trade secret. Thanks Amy for the great service.
