Rush City Bakery did our wedding cake and it was perfect. It was as beautiful as it was delicious! Our flavors were red velvet, vanilla, Bavarian bomb, lemon, and almond with a strawberry whipped filling and each was a winner. We order a little more than we needed and took the rest home because there was no way we were wasting it and we ate every. Single. Crumb. Meg was very responsive, professional, and easy to work with as well. You will not regret either visiting Rush City Bakery or hiring them for any of your dessert needs!

I’ve tried several times over 6 years to love the carmel pecan rolls…but I just can’t. Today I went in early in the morning, anticipating a warm, tasty roll.
It was cold, like it was pulled out of the freezer earlier. Very dry, breaking apart dry and no melty buttery carmel, dry sugar like carmel on the roll. I’ve not tasted a good one yet, sadly. Just doesn’t taste fresh. The cookies lack flavor too, almost missing the salt. Idk, I tried.

I cannot say enough good things about this top notch local bakery. The cupcakes, cakes, cheesecakes, pies, and donuts are perfect and the price point is fair to boot. I stopped for a cake in a pitch( they have frozen sweets at all times) and I was overjoyed when the gal asked if I would like my kiddos name written on the cake. They did it on the spot. So nice!!!!!! Such a nice service. THANK YOU.

We went out of our way because we heard this bakery was amazing. We bought donuts and cookies about noon. However, the donuts were not great. We are use to melt in your mouth ones from a local bakery near us. The cookies were OK. Maybe the breads or cakes were better but we heard rave reviews about the donuts and cookies. The lady who served us was very friendly so thats why we gave 4 stars. The place was busy. And it was a clean atmosphere.

We decided to go with an assortment of mini desserts for our wedding and OH MY GOODNESS, they were amazing!!! We loved them and so did our guests! The process was pretty simple to book but I wish we could have found a time to meet in person to go over our cake. Unfortunately, there are only meetings on weekdays. Our cake didn’t turn out at all like we were expecting design-wise but it was very tasty!

Excellent bakery! We stopped in at noon on a Saturday, they had tons of goodies available! We got 4 Homer donuts, 4 fritters, 4 caramel rolls, a large loaf of cinnamon bread, and a large French baguette loaf. And a chocolate cover donut the size of a dinner plate! We will be well set for breakfasts and snacks!

Love the small place with big selection! Could not include entire case in photo. Apple fritters top notch. Got one with maple drizzle on top. Crisp outer texture with fresh & delightful inner flavor burst. Cake donut with nuts on top also upper level!

Meg took such good care of us. We got so many compliments of the wedding cake style and taste. Communication was direct and easy. Delivery was seamless. We did two completely different flavor between the tiers and you couldn’t tell from the outside at all which I find impressive (one tier was a blueberry/lemon and the other was chocolate ganache). Loved that we were able to support this bakery and their talents!
