I am a pizza lover and always excited to try pizzas. I found this gem and we visited Rusciano’s pizza 2 times in 2 weeks. I highly believe if kids crave to go to the restaurant it is a great restaurant. My little princess I asking me to ho the third time this week that’s how kuch she loves the food there. 😀
We ordered Margherita pizza (customized as little more charred, crunchy, & with jalapenos), pasta and after meal, creme brulee & tiramisu, desserts for our little princess during our visits.
Pizzas – Wow. Beautiful pizzas and very nice. By far the best pizzas (the way I like it). I always communicate my style of taste.
Pasta – Very well cooked pastas and the sauce was fresh. Again, we loved their pasta.
Desserts – Tiramisu is so delicious. Creme Brulee is amazing. Perfectly balanced sweetness and taste.
I would highly recommend Rusciano’s Pizza.

Very homely and comfortable atmosphere, I ordered the Zi Totonno calzone and it was delicious. The dough is light and fillings are great, one of the best calzones I’ve had! Service is amazing and the staff are very friendly, would highly recommend this restaurant to those who love wood fire pizza and Italian cuisine!

The food was flavorful and clearly made with care. Service was welcoming and friendly. We ordered the Iowan pizza which had the perfect amount of spice. I also had the fetuccine bolognese which was a masterpiece and my toddler enjoyed it as well. The tiramisu was beautifully balanced and we all agreed that it was the best creme brulee we’ve ever tasted. It was an incredible dinner.

Everything about this place was incredible. The meatballs were so good and the bread that came along with it was an excellent choice as we were able to scoop up the sauce with them. The owner came and spoke to us and was very nice. The wine selection was impeccable. The Bolognese was to die for and the pesto pizza was incredible. To end the night we got both the tiramisu and cannolis which were so so yummy as well. 10/10 experience would highly recommend!

My friends and I went here for dinner on a Tuesday and were all pleasantly impressed with the quality of food, speed of service, and calm atmosphere. We had the whole restaurant to ourselves, and got to have a nice little chat with the Owner!
One friend remarked “It is rare that I find food that is worth the price, but this was worth every penny” Another commented that “This is where we will bring friends/family from out of town”
My only complaint is that I didn’t order more. The deserts are the best, you will have room for them and you will want to try them. They know what they are doing and they do it well 🙂

We’ve been to Rusciano’s a few times over the years. The Food is always fantastic and the service is superb. The owner always comes by to see how our experience is going.
I love the ambiance with the oven in the main area. They’ve recently added some booths to one side of the restaurant, which I personally love. Booths make it even more comfortable to have a glass of wine and chat with friends.
I highly recommend an appetizer (street food sampler) and a glass of wine to get you started. The mozzarella bar is great to share or enjoy as your meal. My personal favorite is the Burrata. The mozzarella is soft and spreadable, plus the bread is toasted in the brick oven. It’s a perfect pairing [picture below].
The pizzas serve 1-2 people, pending on whether you ordered an appetizer or not.
Desserts – always beautifully served and delicious.
*Always check to see if they have anything on special. Below you’ll see a lasagna that was a special item the last night we went in.

Went on a Tuesday night and it was surprisingly quiet, make sure to stop in on a Tuesday before everyone realizes they’re open that day!
First time stopping in and it certainly will not be the last. The burrata was incredible, the gnocchi cacio e pepe was killer, the cinque formaggi pizza was amazing blend of sweet and savory, and the Crème brûlée was the best I’ve ever had.
You can tell that the owner is passionate about the food they are serving, and fortunately was able to come chat with our table a few times tonight. The staff were all extraordinarily friendly, and the atmosphere was calm and enjoyable.
I’m a big guy, I’ve eaten at many restaurants in the area, and Rusciano’s wasted no time jumping to the top of my list for “go-to” stops when I have friends visiting from out of town. No notes, absolute perfection.
