Came in at 12:30. Was denied seat at bar as the bartender was solo and overwhelmed. Decided to wait for a table. Was quoted 30 minutes. Was seated at 1:20 only to observe the seat I was unable to sit at the bar was seated and they were already served. Host fail.

But not my Eggs Benedict with lobster tail ($22). Price wise, I shouldn’t expect it would be a whole lobster tail. A spoonful of chopped lobster was scattered on the toast (yes, toast. That was alright as a variation). The poached eggs on top looked just miserable – broken when served. I won’t expect this from Ruscello. Maybe it is just me but a prettier Eggs Benedict would brighten up my day.

Stopped in for a bite to eat while shopping, had tomato soup and pot pie soup, both were delicious! Also had some drinks. They were out of an ingredient for the Holiday special, that was disappointing, also the bacon on the sandwich was ordered to be crispy and had to send the plate back. Very loud atmosphere but was able to have a conversation.

I wish I could give this place another star but really can’t bring myself to do it. Our server was super nice and gave us some extra chocolate mints after our meal. The ambiance is not what we expected. It was too bright and too cold. We ordered the French dip, salmon Niçoise salad, peperoni and mushroom pizza and the Nordstrom burger. Both the burger and pizza were average. My wife really enjoyed the salad although I thought it was average and had way too many capers. The French dip was very good according to my son who know his food 😉

We have come here several times to have drinks and appetizers at the bar. Quick and friendly service, happy hour is M-F from 3pm to 5pm with signature cocktails being $10. Loved their king pao brussel sprouts with a not too spicy drizzle and peanuts. The calamari is so crispy and crunchy with a ton of diced peppers, jalapeños and pepperocinis. Comes with a great dipping sauce. Had the Amelia drink with vodka, super refreshing.

It wasn’t too busy on a Tuesday afternoon. Their Seasonal Citrus Salmon with Spicy Cauliflower and a bed of cornbread was interestingly delicious. The Berry Ginger Beer Soda was too good. I’m assuming the rest of the menu is really good at this location. Service was perfect.

This is for their lobster bisque. It was really tasty. The right level of tanginess and creaminess. There’s another thing added in there that I can’t quite tell that makes it more fragrant. Wasn’t mega salty either like other places with lobster bisque so I was kinda surprised there. The slice of cheese bread that came with it was great too.
