Great food and overall a very pleasant experience.
The food was absolutely delicious — authentic flavors and very well prepared. You can really tell that quality ingredients are used. The service and atmosphere could be a bit more polished, but nothing that ruins the experience. Overall, everything was great and I would definitely come back for the food again. Highly recommended!

My friend and and I split a starter and a salad for lunch. Chebureki is a deep fried ground beef turnover that is delicious. The Fish Under Coat salad apparently had herring at the bottom, but the potatoes, carrots and shredded beets stop were so tasty that no fishy taste or smell came through. A lovely elegant restaurant worthy of return visits.

I live across the street so been meaning to try it since they stated they were halal. Got the manti (dumplings), lamb shank, and plov.
Everything was flavorful and savory. The service was solid too and was a big fan of the bread they give prior to ordering! Only thing was that portions were smaller than expected, but surprisingly filling. Definitely worth eating if you want a proper dining spot that isn’t expensive.

Atmosphere wise very nice, quiet and the staff was friendly, the design of the whole place was really nice too, but i wouldn’t recommend the food. The meat wasn’t fully hot, the taste didn’t feel like it was seasoned properly and it was dry and tough despite how much sauce there was. The rice was very stale and sticky? The veggies didn’t really taste/look like they were cooked fully or seasoned properly and it was just overall a very okay experience, I think you could make the food yourself way better, but if you do get something I’d recommend the shashlik’s instead of any of the beef dishes

We returned to this restaurant because we recalled it was good and we needed a halfway meeting point for more distant friends. It was much better than good — plav, dumplings, salad, borscht, lamb, all delicious. Service was unobtrusive but attentive. Quiet atmosphere with choice of tables. Really no complaints.
Since this was a return, I was surprised to see some negative reviews of what for us has been a consistently positive experience. Maybe it was expectations (there are different styles of the same dish) or the kitchen had a bad day, but that’s not been our experience.

I had good experience. I like that I had an option of where to sit. I got coffee and I like the small size that it comes in. I got cucumber tomatoes salad, which was good. I also got the piroshky which was disappointing. They are not authentic. Looked more and tasted like a croissant. Other than that it was good experience. Also was connected to a European market which I liked.

The place itself is clean and tidy, but food… oh my, here we go: first of all, they gave us glasses of water, and as “fine dining” restaurant the water smelled like water pipes – water was tap 100%. I ordered a lamb kebab, which they serve together with some rice and veggies, and some weird sauce that was for something else but not for meat. Rice was just a dry blob. Veggies were alright-ish. In the end we had a feeling that this place is just overpriced… something. Staff was silent – completely, no greeting no “goodbye”, just ignored us when we were leaving

Amazing Uzbek & Russian cuisine served in nice dishes at a nice venue! Food was very tasty and the portions although are not large are enough for the price. Tried the Pilov, Manti, Salad Olivier, Honey Cake, and black tee and love them all.
The only thing that I would improve was the service. Overall, I will definitely go back to explore the menu and recommend this place to all delicious food lovers.

Would highly recommend and eat here again.
Family friendly Russian Uzbekistan restaurant with great food and outdoor seating.
We had the borscht, lamb shank, and cabbage wraps and they were all great. Service was also great.
I’ve eaten indoors before and there is tablecloth dinner and the decor is ornate and seemingly traditional and authentic.
I’m not Russian or Uzbekistan but the food is really good and seems authentic based on the languages you hear when eating here.

After years of saying we should try RusUz we finally gave this local restaurant a try. We were very underwhelmed by the service and food. Vegetables had zero flavoring and tasted like they were microwaved, one of the entrees wasn’t very warm, dirty appetizer plates sat on our table for over 20 minutes, waiter never refilled our wine or bothered to open and serve our sparkling water. Nice ambiance but I doubt we will ever go back
