Runza Restaurants Serving real food requires a real commitment. It all begins bright and early each morning. Instead of serving breakfast, we’re making homemade bread dough from scratch. We’re hand-slicing onions. We’re shredding lettuce for our salads. We’re stirring up homemade chili and fresh ground beef filling for Runza® Sandwiches. It’s a labor-intensive process that doesn’t let up until long after closing time. We know there are easier ways to do all this, but our commitment to doing things the right way is as real as our food, and that’s not something we’re going to change.

I ordered a meal, my burger didn’t even come close to fitting my bun, and it was thin. It was made the slopiest I’ve ever had a burger as well as my fries were old. They were obviously reheated as they were overcooked and rubbery. This is my second time with terrible food out of this location. I wanted to give another try before a bad review. Oh, and 3 bites in, I found a black hair in my mouth. I have red/blonde hair. So I went hungry after that! Service wasn’t great either, not friendly and I waited long enough my food should have been fresh and hairless. Will NEVER eat here again!

Under previous ownership I had stopped visiting this establishment. Ever since new ownership tool over a few years ago its been a complete turnaround. Friendly good staff and and the food is prepared in a timely matter and no mistakes. St. Paul is very lucky to have them and runza in town

I have always loved St. Paul’s Runza. I’ve never had a bad meal or experience. Other than today. I ordered an original runza, a large fring and two cups of water (not bottled). My bill was $14!? What?? Charging me $2.89 for each cup of water? I would have been better for getting a pop.

I got a Swiss Mushroom burger today. Wasn’t paying attention to it and ate most of it before realizing the burger was pink on the inside, it wasn’t cooked thoroughly. Very disappointed and hoping that I don’t get sick.

Runza’s is consistently good, but never great. I never regret going their, but never my first choice if given options. The staff was friendly, being completely honest, the runzas are not the best menu items. I prefer their burgers (which are surprisingly really good) and my kids prefer their chicken fingers. Overall it is a good fast food joint and a nebraska staple, so it is a worthy place to eat.
