Social Profile:

Runza Restaurants Serving real food requires a real commitment. It all begins bright and early each morning. Instead of serving breakfast, we’re making homemade bread dough from scratch. We’re hand-slicing onions. We’re shredding lettuce for our salads. We’re stirring up homemade chili and fresh ground beef filling for Runza® Sandwiches. It’s a labor-intensive process that doesn’t let up until long after closing time. We know there are easier ways to do all this, but our commitment to doing things the right way is as real as our food, and that’s not something we’re going to change.

Fast-food chain known for namesake German sandwiches, plus burgers, onion rings & crinkle-cut fries.

First time in Nebraska, there is not much to do here! Checked out runza, it’s about on par with average fast food but it’s different than your typical Arby’s or Wendy’s type of place, so I liked the originality. Onion rings were kinda burnt.

It was fantastic! I took the n.3 sandwich with beef, cabbage, swiss cheese and mushrooms. Amazing! Highly recommend especially if you’re doing a long road trip!
The guy at the counter was super friendly. The place is very close to a gas station, very useful for quick stop!

Hello team for restaurants when the customers my name is SALEH Mohamed I’m writing a review today. It is for December 20 25. The service is excellent. Their food is excellent and I told them I’m gonna hurry today and if possible, you can make me my sandwich as soon as possible when I pick up my pick it up my drink in the machine directly as my sandwich is ready I believe it just 2 minute or three minute I don’t know i’m extremely satisfied and there which is delicious is an excellent cooking better than Chick-fil-A here in America. The people say Chick-fil-A is better. What about me? The sandwich for classic sandwich for chicken in Runza restaurant is better than Chick-fil-A here in America. Thank you very much.

Had a bacon cheeseburger and onion rings. Food was hot, fresh and d tasty. Onion rings coating was the breading type, I prefer the beer battered coating g type but they were still good. Burger was good but looked like it only had a single slice of bacon. Restaurant and bathrooms were very clean. Would definitely swing by again for a treat. I was especially hungry and had eaten half the onion rings bt the time I took the picture, they give you more than what is pictured.

I’ve been told for 6 years to go to Renza. Today was the day.
I ordered the Swiss and the regular cheese Renza.
The Swiss was the best…
Wow
How have I not had this before.
Thank you Renza for the delicious meal. I will be back.

I usually enjoy stopping at Runza, but my recent visit to the Lexington location left me shocked and disappointed. I went in on a Sunday around noon on Nov 2nd, and one of the male employees made an incredibly rude comment toward my grandmother about her outfit, he said it looked like “a cow threw up on her.”

That kind of unprofessional and disrespectful behavior has no place anywhere, especially in a restaurant. My grandma didn’t deserve to be talked to like that, and it completely ruined what was supposed to be a nice lunch outing.

I don’t know the employee’s name, but management needs to address how their staff speak to customers. I hope this review brings some attention to what happened so no one else has to go through that kind of treatment again.

Aidan suggested the Original Runza sandwich. My husband and I switched up the cheese with pepper jack. It was excellent and next time in Nebraska we’ll eat here again. Good to eat at local restaurants!

Slightly better than typical fast food atmosphere. Very clean. First time having a Runza. It was tasty. I would call it comfort food and the sign says they make daily from scratch so much healthier than typical fast food. I would get again if I am ever out this way in the future. Unique to Nebraska, I was told.

Tried for the first time super friendly and an empoyee recommended a really good sandwich after my boyfriend mentioned that he wished there was a spicy one. We both agreed the spicy was the far superior of the two different ones we got
