Runza Restaurants Serving real food requires a real commitment. It all begins bright and early each morning. Instead of serving breakfast, we’re making homemade bread dough from scratch. We’re hand-slicing onions. We’re shredding lettuce for our salads. We’re stirring up homemade chili and fresh ground beef filling for Runza® Sandwiches. It’s a labor-intensive process that doesn’t let up until long after closing time. We know there are easier ways to do all this, but our commitment to doing things the right way is as real as our food, and that’s not something we’re going to change.

This is a decent runza location. I appreciate the proximity to UNK campus. The staff are also really nice. My primary issue is the abysmal drive through. The location of the building is just in such an awkward space that the drive thru suffers. Overall pretty good

Food was really good, I got a recommendation to try this out when I was in Nebraska since we dont have Runza in California. Service was ok, food was fast and it tasted pretty good. I do recommend specially if you are from somewhere else.. I have only seen these in Nebraska so far.

We order $40 worth of food and they forgot two burgers and a fry so we pull around and go inside. They realized they messed up the order so they said they would remake the whole order. This was great because it took so long that the first order we were given was cold. The Dr Pepper was flat too so they changed it out and gave us two new ones. Get all the way home with our new food and all of the cheeseburgers are lukewarm, greasy, and smashed. The buns were just a mushy mess. All 4 of them. It was probably the worst Runza we’ve ever had. I don’t know what happened but if that’s the new standard we won’t be back. I’m glad they offered to remake it but it really seemed like they actually just gave us what they forgot to the first time and never remade anything.

Got a cheeseburger with Xtra mayo. Had very little mayo on it. Got 2 orders of fries which were obviously refried and not fresh at all, very dry and old. One bright spot was corporate was very quick to respond to the complaint.

Tried both of the salads and they were great! Short on the dressing, so if you like dressing in ALL your salad, ask for extra. Onion rings were delicious as well.

We had a very large order and they nailed it! It was all very organized and great quality. The employees were so kind. Most places get an attitude when there are larger orders. The staff was so accommodating and were grateful for the business. I was offered help carrying it all to my car as well. I love the small town generosity and kindness!!
