Runza Restaurants Serving real food requires a real commitment. It all begins bright and early each morning. Instead of serving breakfast, we’re making homemade bread dough from scratch. We’re hand-slicing onions. We’re shredding lettuce for our salads. We’re stirring up homemade chili and fresh ground beef filling for Runza® Sandwiches. It’s a labor-intensive process that doesn’t let up until long after closing time. We know there are easier ways to do all this, but our commitment to doing things the right way is as real as our food, and that’s not something we’re going to change.

I was second in line, and was waited a long time after ordering. The customers ahead of me returned their incorrect order, only to be told the location was out of Runzas for 30 minutes. They had come from the interstate location, which was also out or Runzas, and ended up getting a refund instead of waiting. That’s when the server turned to me and said, “Did you hear we’re out of Runzas?”—the first I’d heard of it. I wish they’d told me sooner. I waited 20 minutes more….Out of Runza’a at a Runza.

The food was fresh, delicious, and perfect for all ages. The kids loved their meals, especially the crinkle-cut fries. My spouse and I couldn’t get enough of their classic Runza sandwiches.
The restaurant was clean, with plenty of seating. The family-friendly vibe made us feel right at home. It’s rare to find a fast-casual spot that goes the extra mile to make families feel welcome.
If you’re traveling with kids or just looking for a hearty meal in a cozy atmosphere, Runza in York is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be back on our next trip through Nebraska!

I ordered a runza meal in the drive thru. I did not have to wait long and the food was hot and delicious. One of the best Runzas I’ve eaten at ( and I worked at one several years ago). Good job. Workers were very friendly.

Asked for a large fringe and they gave a medium that wasn’t even cooked. Asked multiple times for ranch on both adult meals and both children’s meals but only got one ranch. There were no cars in front of me either.

33 min to get through the drive through ! I only ordered a soda and i would have just left except you cant get out of line. Thought we’d try food for dinner but that’s not happening now. They def need more staff & to be trained properly.

Our favorite fast food in York. The frings are always just perfect, especially with the SW ranch. It’s also always great to see all the YHS high school students working there. Kudos to the management who works with all the students’ schedules. Adding jalapeños to the mushroom swiss runza is a must!!
