Social Profile:

Runza Restaurants Serving real food requires a real commitment. It all begins bright and early each morning. Instead of serving breakfast, we’re making homemade bread dough from scratch. We’re hand-slicing onions. We’re shredding lettuce for our salads. We’re stirring up homemade chili and fresh ground beef filling for Runza® Sandwiches. It’s a labor-intensive process that doesn’t let up until long after closing time. We know there are easier ways to do all this, but our commitment to doing things the right way is as real as our food, and that’s not something we’re going to change.

Fast-food chain known for namesake German sandwiches, plus burgers, onion rings & crinkle-cut fries.

Preparation and quality of product is just not there anymore. Dripping in grease, condiments all over the outside of the burger, and no attention paid while taking the order. Person at the window literally only said the total. Not a single other word… For $7.29, this burger deserved better.

Was in Nebraska with a friend. We had to try the famous Runza, we were glad we did, but it’s just average fast food. A really good sandwich for a fast food place.

Runza Restaurant is a Nebraska exclusive fast food chain. I tried their signature sandwich with cheese, onion rings and fries. I didn’t care for the sandwich. The onions rings were breaded and the crinkle cut fries ordinary. The ranch dipping sauce was very good. Staff was very helpful and the restaurant itself was clean and comfortable.

This was my first time at a Runza as I am from out of town. I had the original Runza The sandwiches are unique and quite good. The staff at this location was very friendly, food came out hot and quick and service was great.

Nothing like ordering food with no onions. Driving down the road and finally able to take a bite of a burger to get a mouthful of onions. Had to spit it all out while driving and couldn’t eat any of it.

Burnt fries: Fries have been burnt at the Waverly location. I love Runza fries so much & typically pick it over McDonald’s because of the fries being so good at Runza. Lately my experience with the fries they have been crispy, burnt, and stale. Wish Runza put more effort into providing fresher non burnt fries. Seriously these taste like potato chips. Not happy

Really delishious food…not your typical “fast food”. If you’re driving through Nebraska…you MUST stop and try this. I would recommend the chilli and cinnamon roll (sounds strange, but it’s surprisingly good)

Christina was running the drive thru, she was extremely rude and cut me off multiple times while ordering and forgot a few items that I had asked for due to cutting me off. Not acceptable.

Waited 30 minutes for our order only to get cold onion rings and grease soaked French fries. Burger was cold and cheese was still cool.

Kid behind the counter taking our order couldn’t keep his hands out of his hair but glad he was the one not touching the food! While eating cook came out of kitchen to say they were out of Runzas! Really??? At 1:45 on a Sunday afternoon?

Take the time to drive into Lincoln if you are hungry for Runza!
