Runza Restaurants Serving real food requires a real commitment. It all begins bright and early each morning. Instead of serving breakfast, we’re making homemade bread dough from scratch. We’re hand-slicing onions. We’re shredding lettuce for our salads. We’re stirring up homemade chili and fresh ground beef filling for Runza® Sandwiches. It’s a labor-intensive process that doesn’t let up until long after closing time. We know there are easier ways to do all this, but our commitment to doing things the right way is as real as our food, and that’s not something we’re going to change.

Drive thru only. Didn’t get napkins or hot food. Was edible once home and reheated. No knife as I asked for either. Both runzas were falling completely apart so didn’t need knife. Recommended:: ??? Yes but only for certain items based on the 2 runzas I got.

It’s fast food, so I will not give it 5 stars.
However, for fast food goes, it is always consistent. Good fresh meat is used. And the fries and Onion rings are so good that they don’t need any ketchup or dips.
And I hope they bring back the Italian runza again every year.

I worked with Kathy as we ordered 12 dozen mini original Runzas for our daughter’s wedding reception. She made the process so easy and had impeccable customer service! The mini Runzas were a hit at our reception. Everyone loved them!

I went through drive thru at about 5pm. The only thing I ordered was the number 4, which is a cheese burger, fries, and a drink. I made a simple request of only ketchup and pickles on my burger. She told me the total and I dropped my phone and wallet. Since when did the prices go up? I cannot understand all the people leaving 5-star reviews! First time trying Runza driving back home to Colorado, and it will definitely be our last. The food IS SO SALTY!!! I mean, fries are understandable, but everything from the grilled chicken sandwich to the runza sandwich is so incredibly salty! My family and I eat fast food often (Taco Bell, Wendy’s, etc.), and this is by far the saltiest meal we’ve had. Could not eat more than a couple bites of our sandwiches.

Went through drive-thru. I have no idea who decided that would be a great place to put it. When ordering hope, a train isn’t going by. If you have a large vehicle, it’s a bit tight. If pulling a trailer park on the road. Staff makes up for these inconvenient.

I waited over 20 minutes for my food while 3 drive-thru cars had already gotten their food, I ordered way before them and I didn’t even get my drink, and the bread was also soggy. I’ve never had a problem till today.
