Runza Restaurants Serving real food requires a real commitment. It all begins bright and early each morning. Instead of serving breakfast, we’re making homemade bread dough from scratch. We’re hand-slicing onions. We’re shredding lettuce for our salads. We’re stirring up homemade chili and fresh ground beef filling for Runza® Sandwiches. It’s a labor-intensive process that doesn’t let up until long after closing time. We know there are easier ways to do all this, but our commitment to doing things the right way is as real as our food, and that’s not something we’re going to change.
Fast-food chain known for namesake German sandwiches, plus burgers, onion rings & crinkle-cut fries.

The service is very bland with very little communication and essentially is the opposite of a the hospitality you get at other locations.
It truthfully feels like this location doesn’t have the dedication to detail as the others.
Honestly it’s better than a lot of the stuff I have in my area (Five guys etc.) and I’d absolutely love to see this franchise expand out of state. If we had some of these on the East Coast, I’d be going regularly.
Just a really great experience. The menu was simple but enough to still have variety and not feel overwhelming. The food itself was very fresh and very tasty, fries were on point, crispy and complemented the meal well, add a shake to the mix and you’re in heaven.
Prices are definitely worth it, again when you compare it to things like five guys that will charge you roughly around the same or more and imo less quality. I just know if I had one of these in my actual area/state, I’d be making it my go to burger joint.
For the value, what the menu offers and the food itself, I honestly don’t think those “major” brands even come close to touching this little gem. Nebraska definitely has something special with this franchise. Staff was very friendly as well, welcoming and patient (out of state lol) to let me look at the menu before ordering.
The restaurant itself was very laid back and chill, I actually ate in (which I haven’t done in years) and the place was pretty much spotless and very clean. As I was enjoying my meal, I was always seeing the staff constantly working and just cleaning the place up, refilling the condiments etc.
Couldn’t give this place any higher of a review but if you’re ever in the state of Nebraska (just cause Idk if it’s exclusive to the state or maybe they have expanded a little out, aka Iowa etc.) definitely check them out, you won’t be disappointed!
We came last year on a job, it was recommended to us and we fell in love with the food. Now we’re back on the same job, but we vane here FIRST!
We were NOT disappointed! It was even better than last time. I can’t wait to come back!
(I meant to show a picture of the whole sandwich but it smelled SO GOOD I forgot and started eating it, sorrybut at least I can show you post of it.)
