Runza Restaurants Serving real food requires a real commitment. It all begins bright and early each morning. Instead of serving breakfast, we’re making homemade bread dough from scratch. We’re hand-slicing onions. We’re shredding lettuce for our salads. We’re stirring up homemade chili and fresh ground beef filling for Runza® Sandwiches. It’s a labor-intensive process that doesn’t let up until long after closing time. We know there are easier ways to do all this, but our commitment to doing things the right way is as real as our food, and that’s not something we’re going to change.

Our order was incorrect at the drive-thru, and when I called to report the issue, they agreed to replace the entire order for free. However, upon returning, I had to place the order three times before they replaced the sandwiches, and the staff displayed a poor attitude. By the time I received my sandwiches correctly, the fries were cold.

During this season of COVID-19, I’ve had to do a lot of dining or picnicking in my car with so many restaurant lobbies being closed. But it hasn’t stopped the drive throughs of those same places from serving patrons that want to keep people working.
Trying an original Runza was a first for me at the insistence of my co-worker. Why did I listen to her? Now I’m hooked! In fact, when I told the clerk that this was my first visit, he assured me that I would be back and he was right. The bread is so soft and flavorful and the meat stuffing addicting. As I was told, you have to try the sandwich with ranch dressing. It takes the flavor up another notch.
Overall:This sandwich is filling on its own. If you have a big appetite try the Runa meal that comes with fries (so good) and a drink.

My kids and I stopped in to get an ice cream cone and were completely disappointed by how small they are. We all received kid size cones, when asked why they were so small the guy said sorry they are not as pretty. Runza alway usually always has the nice size cones at a great price.
