Ridiculous to charge $15.60 for a bacon egg white and cheese on a bagel. The bagel costs exactly the same as they charge for the roll the “sandwich” comes on, since they omitted the home fries I don’t see a credit for them. ( no one asked that they be left off.) they had to use eggs anyway so it cost $3 to leave out the yolk? I honestly feel ripped off and don’t think I will be going back ever again.

A Hidden Gem with Five-Star Service and Flavor

I had the unexpected pleasure of spending over three hours at Runway Diner while my car was being repaired nearby—and honestly, I couldn’t have landed in a better spot. From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel welcome and completely at ease. Despite the long stay, not once did I feel rushed or like an inconvenience. In fact, quite the opposite—the service was phenomenal.

I ordered the seafood platter, and it was nothing short of amazing. Perfectly cooked, generously portioned, and absolutely bursting with flavor. My server went above and beyond, offering thoughtful recommendations to ensure I was happy with my meal. Their attentiveness and kindness really stood out and turned what could have been a frustrating day into a genuinely enjoyable one.

The portions were large, the food was delicious, and the service was some of the best I’ve experienced in a long time. If you’re anywhere near Little Ferry or South Hackensack, I highly recommend stopping by Runway Diner. Whether you’re popping in for a quick bite or unexpectedly staying awhile, you’ll be glad you did. Five stars, without a doubt!

The food is excellent. The prices for what you get are fair considering the current economy. The service is amazing and friendly. Overall, it is great place to dine, especially if you enjoy breakfast food all day. I highly recommend you make the stop!

Best diner I have been to and I have been to many. HUGE glass of FRESH SQUEEZED OJ! At other diners it’s usually generic stuff out of a can, but not here. A little more expensive than other diners, but well worth it.

Had brunch here with family and was very pleased. Waited about 15 minutes to be seated. Well worth the wait. Food is good and the portion sizes are enormous. I had the brioche French toast with eggs and bacon. It was enough food for two people. My nephew had pancakes with fruit. Again, very large portion size. I would definitely recommend.

Food took forever to get to our table and the place was not busy for a Friday evening. The service was horrible. Waitress appeared new and unsure of multiple menu options and was terribly slow. It took us forever to get refills and to-go boxes. This diner also doesn’t include home fries with their breakfast specials which is insane for a Jersey diner. Not worth it for the price when I could go to Boulevard Diner or Chit Chat and get a better experience. Never returning as it missed the mark completely.

Meh. Coffee was good, service was quick and friendly (we’ll start with the good). But the food was pretty sub-par. The steak on our salad almost certainly came out of a microwave 2 hours before served, and the pancakes lacked flavor. No salt on the fries. This place has a lot of potential but the food just isn’t as good as your average chain such as Perkins, Dennis, or ihop….which isn’t good for the price charged

The service was adequate and the food was mostly edible, but I need to downvote heavily due to being served some spoiled food. The stuffed clams in my seafood platter were well past their expiration date. I ate one and it tasted horribly moldy, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt and asked the server if they were made with blue cheese. He said they weren’t made with cheese at all. I explained the moldy taste and to his credit he asked if I would like to return them for something else – there was plenty of other food so I said it wasn’t necessary. I finished up and they brought me a check for the full amount, which was a little disappointing but it is what it is. You might want to stick with the burgers if you go here – this isn’t the first time I’ve entrusted a diner with a more esoteric menu item and paid the price, and I need to learn my lesson.

This was so delicious! I wasn’t expecting it to be so good and fresh! Me and my husband went on a Sunday morning it was pretty packed. Everyone looked like they were enjoying their meals. We ordered chocolate chip pancakes with whipped cream, and an egg and cheese omelette with house potatoes and it was the best potatoes I’ve ever had, and the most fluffiest pancakes I ever had. They were perfect too perfect to the point where they look fake. Definitely recommend very delicious and for best part was the fresh squeezed orange juice
