During a weekend away, we were looking for a place that would be open for dinner on Christmas night, and we were so happy we chose Running Deer Inn. The food was great, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and (my favorite part) the two sweet little Yorkies who greeted us at the door instantly made us feel at home. Christine was incredibly kind and welcoming. We were so happy to start our Christmas night here — and it turned into a moment we’ll remember forever when the night ended with a proposal.

If you like the rumble of Harley Davidson motorcycles pulling into the parking lot and loud locals getting drunk at the bar this is the place for you. Prime rib so tough sent it back to chef to cut . Our steak knife didn’t do the trick. Christine owner boasts of exotic meats however only available this day was camel burger and elk stew. Good for her she runs out. You’ll either love it or hate.

Me and my girlfriends were looking for a fun night and via facebook an event popped up for trivia and prime rib. We arrived a half hour prior and the owner immediately introduced herself and accommodated our large party of 8. As soon as we were seated we were informed that trivia night was canceled due to the host. We were disappointed but were looking forward to the prime rib. Unfortunately the waiter informed us the prime rib had sold out But we were so fortunate that our server Ruben had some other amazing options!! The food did not disappoint though!!! Ruben and the owner made our experience beyond amazing!!!! If you are looking for amazing food,drinks and entertainment this is the place to be! Ruben was beyond amazing and made all of us ladies feel special!

We tried the RDI for the first time with our four kids ages 4-10 and had a great visit. The atmosphere was so fun and the service was great. The young man waiting on us was very attentive and kind. We really enjoyed the food! Husband is picky about his manhattans and he gave this one a thumbs up. For a party of 6 we were able to eat for just over $100- which is tough to do. This may become our new regular spot. Keep it up!

Went to wish the Owner well during the Ribbon Cutting, Bacon Cheeseburger and Tots was phenomenal! Welcoming staff, good food, personal touch on the decorations is solid. Will be going back.

Bar looked very nice and updated. With that said, Everything else was not so great. Service was so….so….. Many were overserved that was apparent within seconds of entering the bar. No additional activities available aside from drinking. (No darts, Pool table.) TV program was confusing for bar a bar atmosphere (cartoons) Bartender was visibly drinking behind bar also. Mens bathroom makes no sense. Did not try food at first visit. Bartender served me another drink without asking. Overall takeaway was…. Nice interior but needs ALOT of work professionaly.
