During my initial visit, I opted for a seat at the bar as I was dining alone, seeking a brief respite from my business for a light lunch. I believe Jennifer processed my order, and the meal was delivered promptly and at an optimal temperature ( nice and hot) . I fully intend to return. As a fellow small business owner, I recognize the critical importance of efficient service, well-prepared cuisine, and a swift turnaround to facilitate a timely return to the workplace.

Wings were very yummy! They aren’t big like they advertise them to be but they are tasty!
The shrimp basket was very good! Wife got the Philly Steak sandwich & was great as well!
It was a little pricey ($47) but you have to expect that nowadays. Also took a little while to get the food but server was sweet.
I will definitely be back for those wings! May even order 20 next time!

Dated interior. Looking online I expected home curated food. It was all out of a can or freezer. I had the buffalo shrimp. It was pedestrian frozen shrimp with a store bought buffalo sauce. I also ordered the smoked tuna with onions and jalapeños. Looked and tasted like tuna salad I’d make at home. Not worth the money.

A typical open restaurant bar. Great service always busy decent to good food decent to good drinks. The clam chowder is worth a cup The grouper fish sandwich is maybe the best thing on the menu all things are good to great It’s a Louisville classic.

My first review of a restaurant and it seems like disappointment is a regular thing at restaurants now for us.
Came in and didn’t hate the way it looked albeit dated. My son played the two old arcade games.
Service was fast. Not mad at him because of the food but anymore it’s not in us to complain we just stop going back to places and this was our first time there and on a Thursday evening.
Ordered the smoked tuna dip which was $17 and was decent but vacation priced appetizer
Our food came out quick
Wife had fish sandwich, son had kids cheeseburger and I had the $30 fried platter
Now while my food was good that can’t make up for how lackluster the other two meals were. My son could eat a burger from most anywhere but he could barely stomach a second bite of this overcooked probably freezer burnt burger and cold, hard and probably had been sitting curly fries. So I had to feed him something when we got home. My wife’s fish sandwich was way too greasy and at the same time bland and she had those same hard fries that no one would eat.
$100 meal with me giving the guy a good tip

The food was mid at best. The waitress couldn’t remember to bring us our drinks. We spent over $115.00 on food for (2) that was not worth the price. We ordered the fried pickles & buffalo shrimp for appetizers, shrimp & grits with a side salad, & steak & shrimp with a side salad for the meals. It took a while to get the food, & then when it finally atrived, the fried pickles & buffalo shrimp were cold, the steak was over cooked, but cold, not cooked as ordered, the shrimp & grits were cold & not great either. It must have been sitting there, before it got brought out to us. Needless to say everything that was ordered was placed in a to go box & still sits in the refrigerator.

I ordered a crab cake po boy. It tasted like imitation crab but there was hardly any crab in it. It tasted more like a breaded sandwich. The server was so bad that we had other servers bring out our food and refill our drinks. We waited so long for the bill and for her to come back to take the check that we had to go get other people to get her to get our check. I also regret giving her the tip I gave her because frankly she didn’t deserve one. I personally don’t recommend this place…

I was not happy at all, I ordered the steamer steamer bowl the snow crab legs they were so over done or something the meat was basically gone, the server took it away and said yeah I see that and brought me more well they were just as bad. I would not recommend going there. However the server was very nice.
