Rumors Bar & Grill has always been one of those classic Rice spots where you feel welcome the second you walk in. The food has consistently been great — especially the wings, burgers, & pizzas — always hot, flavorful, & never too greasy. The staff has that perfect mix of friendly & fast, & the atmosphere overlooking Little Rock Lake gives it a cozy, local charm. Now that it’s Little Rock Tavern, it still carries the same heart & hospitality, just with a fresh energy from the new owners. A great place to grab a meal, relax, & feel like part of the community. Definitely worth a stop. Check it out!!

Owner was racist and disrespectful. When I finally got his attention after being continuously ignored for 5 minutes straight because there was a bug in my drink. I didn’t receive an apology or a talk of comp. 1/5 disgusting.

We were there on Saturday, September 6. We ordered our drinks and food and 45 minutes later the server came out to tell us they had a grease fire in the kitchen and could only make pizza. Well, since we had all ordered pizza we didn’t think it’d be a problem. She said it would take about 30 minutes. We were a little puzzled as to why our Pizza hadn’t been done earlier, but whatever 55 minutes later, we finally got our pizzas. Then our server disappeared, so it was almost impossible to pay the check. I’m not sure if this is a one off experience or not, but I will be hard-pressed to spend my money there again. One small apology, no comp for the delay or anything. We really had not budgeted 2.5 hours for a quick dinner. Plus on top of that we had a 90 minute drive home.

Pizza was fantastic too. It truly tastes homemade from the crust to the fresh green pepper. Amazing pizza sauce

A friend of mine wanted to stop in on our way home to check out the establishment. We stopped in for a drink. Since we had just eaten lunch at a conference, we didn’t order food. However, I’ll definitely be back to grab a bite to eat.
Our service was good. Looked like a place for locals, but we didn’t feel out of place. It wasn’t too loud, but also didn’t have that awkwardly quiet environment. I was surprised they didn’t make Moscow mules, but they did have calamato juice. That’s always a bonus for me.
