Went to watch a young local Funk/Jam band. Owner was rude to them from the start and shut them down after their first set. When asked why he replied that the crowd there didn’t like that kind of music. The crowd (12 people) were dancing and having a god time.
I will not support a bar that calls itself a live music venue that treats artists this way.

This was a great time! Great atmosphere the night I was there! The bartenders were great! They were fast at their job and knew every answer to every question I ask them! The band was great that night! It is a clean place. The employees there we’re constantly on top of their game with cleaning and making sure customers were taken care of! Especially on a busy night. It was my first time at this bar.

Older and darker, but with atmosphere. I have been there a lot to see bands and always have a good time. The service is adequate or bettet. The music is generally very good. Sometimes the local M/C (The Chosen Few) is there, and it seems to keep things calm and safe …unless you are stupid enough to trash talk to an M/C …my experience is they are great people if you like bikes.

I would go 3 n a half, that’s not an option that I know of on this particular rating system and at times it is a 4 out of 5 but not each visit. They’ll have good jam sessions on Sunday I believe and great bands on weekends some bands being better than others but competition is what made us free, right? Good food.

I just moved to Cedar Rapids recently to live on the river and wanted to find a nice spot to eat and have a drink after work, rumors fits the bill perfectly. They have a new food menu with specials that are cost effective and delicious. The chicken sandwich for $8 is a steal because it’s massive and comes with fresh veggies. Apple pie shots for $3 are also a delicious no-brainer, definitely found my new neighborhood bar! Silver Fox kitchen staff is friendly and so is the bartender gal. They all work efficiently.
