We recently visited Rumi with our family, and everyone truly enjoyed the experience. While the flavors may not be strictly authentic to traditional regional Indian cuisine, the food is delicious, well-prepared, and very approachable.
There was something for everyone at the table — from flavorful curries to freshly made naan — and each dish was served hot and beautifully presented. The spice levels were mild.
The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and attentive, which made our family meal even more pleasant. We would definitely recommend it to others.

My girls and I had an array of foods from Rumi this evening. I had the lamb special and it was delicious. The service was wonderful and our waiter was very informative and kind. He was social with other customers and was attentive. 10/10 would recommend. Will be retuning.

First time here, and as two people who had never tried this style of food before, it was a fantastic experience! The food was incredible. So flavorful we even ordered more to take home.
Our server was kind, but the CHEF truly made the night. He personally came over, thanked us for coming, and casually shared about his restaurant and different dishes. So polite and personable. Such a great vibe! It genuinely made us excited to come back and try more.
The butter chicken felt like a safe first choice… and it was AMAZING. Absolutely delicious. And the dessert? A total highlight. Mind-blowing flavor.
The atmosphere was welcoming, comfortable, and accepting.

Only small complaint: I didn’t see bundled meal options, so ordering everything separately made it slightly pricey for a low-budget family. But was it worth it? YES.

Lovely staff. Ambience was lovely. Food was great we love the palak chiken. Chicken and beef kababs naan, baba ganoosh all cooked to perfection. Spice level was good.

Stopped near Selinsgrove for a work project for a few days. Found this halal restaurant for lunch and dinner. If you are looking for amazing authentic Pakistani and Afghani dishes, this is the place to be! Food was top notch and service from the waiters and owner was awesome! Owner would check in with every customer to see if everything was good with the meal and got to know everyone that walks in. 10 out of 10 recommend.

Great menu selection and experience. I’ve visited twice in the last few weeks, the first time for dinner and the second for lunch. Menu was the same for both.
No issue grabbing a seat for either visit, no wait time.
I definitely recommend the falafel platter so you can try their delicious salad, falafels, hummus and pita all in one large shareable dish.
Everything is tasty and full of flavor.
We were left waiting about 20 minutes our second trip after asking for boxes which was a bit of a bummer, but service was nice the first visit!

We came from Columbus Ohio and I called before arriving. They were nice enough to let us sit and eat even after closing.
Customer service is great! The biryani was really good. The Kufta could be little bit more flavorful. I wish there were more Desi items on the menu.

Delicious and authentic food with a charming atmosphere and staff. There hasn’t been one item I have tried that I didn’t like. One of my favorites is the Masala Chai and Tawook Chicken, always fabulous and fresh.

I love a good plate of butter chicken and other spicy foods, but usually they are spicy but have no flavor. But at this place the spicy food was actually spicy AND tasted delicious! I totally recommend it to people who like spicy foods and just food in general! Also we got this very good drink and their meat was SO tender, AND the rice with everything was a chefs kiss! Totally would recommend this place!
