Eh, not impressed. I got the Sweet Pork Salad- whole- for $12.49. I should have taken a photo as it was served to me but decided to take one halfway through. Seriously- maybe 1/8 cup of pork, maybe a couple fork-fulls. Black beans- maybe 15 of them. Ten tortilla strips. A cup or two of lettuce. I don’t know what the $12.49 covered. The dressing was good. But not much food to put it on. You can find better deals elsewhere. For this price, and it being a salad, there should be a lot more to it than this. No photos of my wife’s fish tacos but the fish was skimpy. She said they were soggy- lots of water in the tacos, indicating the fish was frozen. She said it was somewhat good though, just not worth $13. Skip Rumbi Island Grill. There are a lot of other places around the area.

It was once a great place and had decent food for a good price but it really has not kept pace with the competition. The Logan location feels one step away from closing. Food is inconsistent in freshness and quality, staffing is often short, and it is hard to get a cashier who speaks English leading to frequent, avoidable mistakes and unnecessary frustration. You will do better with Mo Bettahs or Panda Express for similar, fast casual options. I won’t be going back.

Sorry to say, not what it used to be. Ordered Caribbean Shrimp/Chicken. ($20) Small portion. Looked like a small kids meal. Mostly rice. Little to no sauce. 5 small shrimp. Small piece of diced chicken. Almost no beans. Ordered sweet potato fries. Small portion of fries mostly an inch long and crunchy. Nice staff. Clean store.

This is kinda a smaller island grill place. The food is really good and they have a lot of variety compared to other islands grill places I’ve been. The prices are about average for the amount of food they give you and I really enjoyed the food! I would easily go back anytime.

Oh so yummy! I’ve come here on a few occasions while in town and I’ve never been disappointed. The food is delicious and the service has been friendly.

Did curbside pickup. The worker sat inside and laughed when I checked in. She then proceeded to not bring the food out and sit on her phone. And glared when I came in to pick it up. No help at all as she also got the order wrong and food was burnt. 0/10. Normally pretty good but today was awful.

Best island food in the valley! Service could be better though. Young guy that helped us didn’t greet us when we came in, and wasn’t listening very closely. Missed a drink and put our order to go instead of to stay. They were not busy.
However, food came out quickly, and the Kahuna pineapple burger was better than any pineapple burger I’ve ever had. Perfect portions, and fair prices. About $13/person.
I’ll eat here again, just hope the young guy at the cashier’s stand learns some better customer service skills.

The salad and fries were nice. So was the carribean chicken and shrimp except for the coconut. It was quite overpowering. Far too sweet for me.

Rumbi doesn’t even pretend to try anymore. My husband just got back with our food. They didn’t include the extra sauce we paid for, OR the pineapple salsa that is included with my $20 Caribbean Chicken and Shrimp. How do you charge $20 for for something and not even include the right salsa? They gave us pico and I was glad I tried it before putting it on my food. My husband’s “Full” rice bowl filled barely a quarter of the bottom of the metal tin after he got it all mixed together. I’m not one to normally write bad reviews or care, but I’m thoroughly annoyed at their lack of trying. Mostly because of how expensive it has gotten.

I used to love eating here, but this photo is a great example of why we’ve stopped coming… This is my serving of the Thursday special, which I didn’t expect to be a large entree, but seriously! it’s barely even a kids meal size serving… It came with a drink, so for $7 it’s like a paid $1 for a drink and $1 for EACH PIECE OF CHICKEN! plus half a bowl of rice with not nearly enough sauce!
