The food is better than expected. I love how the flavors combine really well with each other. I love the service there, and the portions are big. One meal can feed up to 2 average eaters

Rumbii island grill offers Pacific Island-inspired dishes and some regular grill-style offerings with an island twist. My Kahuna burger was a pretty typical teriyaki/Hawaiian burger with teriyaki sauce and a grilled pineapple on top. It was good and very messy, marinating my fries in teriyaki sauce from the drippings of my burger! The Rumbii fries were good being a mixture of regular thin fries and sweet potato fries, however, they were overly cooked and were too crunchy and hard for my tastes. And why do I always get the runts or leftovers or the litter? I received hardly any normal or large fries, and mostly had the small pieces and break off parts that are left over after serving up everybody else’s fry portion- as seen in the image attached. This seems to happen wherever I go.

Anyone who has not had the pleasure of trying a Utah based restaurant named Rumbis is missing a very good eatery. There Hawaiian styled food is spot on, there bowls are delish, and there tempura shrimp is one of the best in state. Highly recommend you give it a try won’t be disappointed unless you are looking for the bad, them you will surely find it…. My life lesson. Enjoy all you foodies.

We love Rumbi and particularly this location. We ordered takeout tonight and my son requested that his order be “made with love.” The sweet Rumbi team responded with this cute note….

Are here today, the food was fast and fresh. Lindsey and Jessica were so attentive and the entire time we were there they were getting food out and keeping the store clean. This is probably one of the best run Rumbi’s I’ve been to in the 8 years I’ve lived in Utah! The store is spotless as you can see

Chicken was slightly rubbery. Other than that good execution of this franchise.
Food was quick staff was nice venue was clean.
Diversity in the number of items you can get from the rice choices to meat choices, and a convenient location near Costco but with plenty of parking.

I’m just curious if paying for about one leaf of lettuce is worth coming to this restaurant. I know there’s shortages and that the economy is in question and I do understand that inflation is high but giving you approximately one leaf of lettuce in your salad? if I was paying $150 for a meal at a fancy restaurant, I would expect small portions because the flavor is so amazing. I guess that’s why I’m LEAFing a review.

I wanted to like it but after going several times I just haven’t been pleased. Either the food was cold, rice way dry, or just not great. Ordered a bowl with teriyaki noodles, not expecting to get spaghetti noodles. The meat was fine and the burger was good, but that’s about it. Quality of the food just didn’t seem to match the price.

This is garbage, I’m sorry. I ordered chicken tempura with vermicelli. They gave me chicken nuggets and spaghetti. This is nasty.

I love Rumbi. Their teriyaki bowls.always hut the spot and feel like you got a nice healthy meal. I have has the a Chicken Shrimp dish multiple times, and sometimes it is delicious, and other times I have not thought it was that great. It might be because it needs the Rumbi rice to make the flavors just right, for the times I didn’t like it as much we tried it with noodles or brown rice.
