PD: The prices are excellent!!!!!!
It’s been closed for the winter season. Officially summer now, our family returned for their amazing $10 bowls, ham croquettes and empanadas. Their name and Presentation always draws the crowd.
However, Their Customer Service and overall Experience NEEDS IMPROVEMENT
Patrons should be able to see their selection of food choices prior to ordering it then proceed to pay to make these lines move and keep the place flowing.
Instead you have to stand on a long line, rushed to order when you arrive to the register without looking at their current “To Go” Bowl food selections and quality and are treated rudely. You now only get 1/2 the amounts from last year @ $10 and sides are NO longer included. Which then requires you to get back on a line.
The place says it closes at 9 and the KITCHEN staff came running out at 7pm this past weekend to see how much food was left, took two trays out to only tell the cashier to STOP selling bowls. Clearly it was for the staff to take food home. Staff is “biting the hand that feeds them” the owners need to keep their eyes open.
Perhaps ownership needs to reevaluate their choice of staff, and hospitality as This Cafe concept and Delicious Food choices are a great addition to the Park and Community.
It’s about making guests feel comfortable and enhancing their overall experience with excellent communication, friendly interactions and a genuine connection and commitment to providing Delicious Food at a great price should follow with Customer Service They’ve also added a Dog Menu.
I visited this café today and was very disappointed by a serious hygiene issue. There was a fly walking across all the pastries at the bread counter. I politely pointed it out to the staff member serving the food, but instead of addressing it properly, they just removed one tray and gave me a rude look. The fly continued to land on the remaining breads, completely unchecked.
I understand that flies can be present in open spaces, but restaurants should take proper precautions to protect food. Leaving baked goods uncovered and exposed like that is unacceptable and puts customers at risk. I hope management takes this seriously and improves their food safety practices.
Pig skin was crispy, meat is juicy
Much better then rancho Mateo
And surprisingly decent late (still can better )
Will be back
A seasonal business that was/is welcomed by the community living around the park, but is managing to antagonize customers from that base one at a time. I hope that this new operator gets its act together or is replaced because we love the idea of having a decent, reliable, and reasonable restaurant right here in the park.
