The food is incredible, our favorite is the busted Al Capone burger. Make sure you get your burger spiced, it’s top notch! But truly everything is great, we’ve had the wings, burgers, chicken sandwiches, salad and baked potatoes. The sweet potatoes fries and the dip are to DIE FOR. The spicy bbq sauce, I could drink it, it’s that good. I’ll never stop recommending this place. And make sure you stop by for trivia nights! They have a point system too if you come here often.
we tried three different burgers
the lady that owns the place
was our servers they were amazing
will definitely be going back
We started off with the fried pickle appetizer, of course, which we demolished, I apologize for the lack of photo on that. You’ll have to take my word on it, this is really worth coming for! That batter is amazing. I ordered the busted Al Capone burger, spiced with a side salad with raspberry vinaigrette on the side. The burger came out and was quite large, I had to cut it in half and take the other half home to be quite honest. I do warn you, its a very messy burger, eat with caution. They toasted the bun perfectly, and the ratio of bun to meat was on point. The salad was a nice sized side salad for only a very small extra fee, which I thought was nice.
My husband got the Busted Gloria de Cesares, spiced with fries. He thoroughly enjoyed his sandwich this time. He said the chicken was juicy and tasted great! The BBQ sauce and that spice really made the sandwich. His fries were crispy and tasted great.
The atmosphere is really neat, a prohibition era feel to it complete with music. Our server was even dressed to fit the theme and was super cute! The decor was lovely, though I admit the booths are super tight, if you are a person of size. I dont typically ever have issues with booths and these were a bit tight here. There are tables available fyi.
We will definitely be back!
The critiques I had before have been fixed. This place is amazing. I still love the 1920s jazzy feel (now with low music). I had a chicken sandwich with an entire grilled chicken breast (not a small one). It was thick and very filling. A small homemade rum cake for dessert was the perfect size for “a bite of something sweet”. I can’t find anything about this place that I would change. Great job, guys! Come try this place!!

This place is brand new and absolutely LOOKS it. It’s beautiful inside – they’ve redecorated and painted, added a bar to the back half, and given it a “speakeasy” feel.
The menu was limited, but the food was excellent. We had burgers, fries, onion rings, and mozzarella sticks. The burgers were so juicy they fell apart, the mozz sticks were crisp and light (not greasy), and the fries tasted super fresh.
My only 2 (very minor) critiques: 1. The temperature inside is a bit variable (cold in the diner half, warm in the bar half). And 2. The tables are newly poured epoxy and have some sharp edges that could benefit from a little sanding. But these are super minor and wouldn’t prevent me from saying I’d HIGHLY recommend this place. GREAT JOB!!
We ordered fried mushrooms and potato skins for appetizers. We were served potato skins and mozzarella sticks. The waitress did apologize and offered to switch them, but we just stuck with the mozzarella sticks. The appetizers were average.
For dinner our table ordered two hamburgers with fries and baked potato with chili and cheese. When the burgers came out, our friend noticed “red juice” coming out of hers so we cut both in half to check if they were done. Both hamburger’s were cooked rare. (We were not asked how we wanted them cooked) They did take the burgers back to fix them. When they were brought back out, we realized it was the same patties on new buns. ( patties were cut in half) One was medium and one was still very red. The buns were very doughy. My wife cut her patty up, but only ate two pieces. They definitely looked and tasted like frozen patties and were also dry. The french fries were decent. The baked potato itself was fine. The chili that is listed as homemade tasted like it was canned. My wife did get a bahama mama drink and it was good. Our waitress was very friendly.
All in all my wife ate two pieces of her patty and a few fries. I ate about three bites of my baked potato. Our friends were sharing a meal and he ate the burger. When our plates were cleared we were not asked how the food was, even though the waitress could see that most of our food remained on our plates.
After our experience, we are suspicious of the high rating. This review was not left to be mean, but to maybe help make improvements. We love the idea of the prohibition era setting an would love to see it succeed!
