I love Ruiji Sichuan Chinese restaurant, their menu has quite the variety and many delicious foods even if you don’t like spice which I think is their main personality. I always get their Sichuan popcorn chicken that leaves a numbing feeling after eating a few, but if you can handle spice you’ll keep on eating it anyways, but if you can’t handle spice the sesame chicken is a tangy and sweet option (reminds me of sweet and sour pork but chicken). I also love their sticky rice in brown sugar (it’s heavy, sweet, and fluffy when warm but has more of a mochi texture if you have it for a later for takeout however it’s delicious in anyway!) Or if you prefer something light, cold, and refreshing the cold pudding in brown sugar (Allergy: Peanuts ) is also amazing, maybe a slight acquired taste though. I also reserved a private room this round which you need a minimum of $200 bill, we were a bit short (11 invited but only 7 could make it) but the staff warned us and were okay about it this time around. Ruiji has the one of the most authentic Chinese food I’ve ever ate, and if you’re planning for a private room meal with spicy crab and lobster you would need to make reservations for the room and that seafood. Overall, if Google gave prominent reviewers one six star review for their favorite restaurant (GOOGLE THIS IS AN IDEA!), this would be the restaurant I would give that to!

Always a banger. Love the toothpick lamb, spicy pork ribs and string beans. Everything is delicious. Be careful with the beef noodle soup, it’s very spicy!

THIS IS THE BEST SICHUAN CUISINE RESTAURANT EVER!!!! We love Malatang so obviously we fell in love with Sichuan cuisine. There are a couple of Sichuan restaurants around the town that are quite famous. BUT we found this gem just yesterday and COULD NOT BELIEVE WE DID NOT TRY EARLIER! You can tell that this place is good just by looking at who are eating in this joint: old Chinese folks. When your old fams of your food origin is eating your food like it’s nothing, you KNOW it’s good hahaha yes, not a pretty photos but we could not wait to try and DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!!

Great MaLa experience in the southbay. Even though I may have been profiled and had the spice level downgraded a little, the food is still high quality. The people who work there are very friendly and service is great. Make sure you get a large Tsingtao to wash everything down!

In the bustling streets of Los Angeles, Ruiji Sichuan Cuisine stands tall as a beacon of authentic Chinese flavors, especially when it comes to their tantalizing tofu dishes. During my recent culinary escapade to this delightful eatery, I was taken on a fiery journey that left my taste buds dancing. The exceptional service provided by the talented waitress, Lily, further enhanced the dining experience.

Ruiji is a gem in the South Bay. For lovers of Chinese food, Sichuan cuisine is considered one of the top styles of Chinese cooking, renowned for it’s use of fragrant chilis and oils as well as the numbing spice of the Sichuan peppercorn. Few restaurants offer truly generous use of these ingredients as they are not always enjoyable to a Western palate, but Ruiji is definitely not one of those places. Make sure to order classic Sichuan dishes like Mapo Tofu or try something truly authentic like Twice-Cooked Pork Belly or the various adaptations of Fish in Chili Oil. For the truly adventurous, as for dishes to be prepared Sichuan hot and be prepared to feel the burn.

Amazing Sichuan food in South Bay. The cold noodle, all the fish dishes, and pan fried veggies are all great. Very friendly staffs too.

One of the better Chinese restaurants in the south bay. Highly suggest the fish dishes (one is pictured) and steamed dumplings.
