Reviews
Before choosing where to spend our afternoon, we walked along the Promenade des Anglais, comparing menus, prices and the overall atmosphere of each beach restaurant. The clear winner was Ruhl Plage and it truly exceeded all expectations!
The cuisine is delicious, beautifully presented and full of authentic Mediterranean flavors. The reception and table service were impeccable, with every detail handled gracefully and professionally. The tables are prepared to a true 5-star standard, everything was spotless and the staff makes you feel genuinely welcome.
After lunch, we relaxed on the comfortable sunbeds, enjoying the view of the sea and the elegant energy of the Promenade. It’s the perfect spot for anyone seeking a unique experience between the sea and the city — elegant, peaceful and unforgettable.
Highly recommended — Ruhl Plage is the place to be in Nice! ️✨
The service was wonderful, attentive without being intrusive. They even checked back at the table to make sure everything was fine, which I really appreciated. It truly feels like you have a great team here, and I would be happy if both of them could receive my feedback.
Nice and clean shower and toilet.
We will definitely come back when we visit Nice next time ☀️ ️
We paid 30€ on a Thursday, arriving around 3pm and we were able to get two beds right in front of the water.
Beds were comfortable and their menu has a lot of selections. It was a little hard to flag their staffs down since there were so many people but the staffs are friendly overall.
It was a nice way to spend a day relaxing at the beach. We wish that they would open a little longer since the sun sets so late anyways but they already start packing up around 6:30pm.
The bed and umbrella was indeed iconic for a Nice beach. Very beautiful and chic. I wish we have a little bit more space in between. It felt a little cramped with everyone an inch away from each other.
We checked in and settled though it took some time for someone to come to us grab our order.
We requested the lady at the front desk to change our chairs to the ones behind us though it seems she forgot to inform the same to our server and we saw some frustration flying around for that. Our order got a bit mixed up as well though he was able to fix it and got us with all that we had ordered.
Got ourselves an Americano , an iced coffee, half a pineapple and a bowl of diced watermelon. The presentation do the fruits was great and they taste very fresh as well. The Americano that we received initially was just warm and the quantity was less than little. My wife walked to the front and the lady at the front desk did make her a fresh one to solve the problem.
The juice is not freshly squeezed and is served from a bottle which is good to know just in case.
We paid initially about $80 for the two chairs and the umbrella and the setting was just ok and like I mentioned it was too cramped for an ideal beach setting.
Recommend it- maybe not very positive though!!
The food was delicious, and we kept it simple with a hamburger, ham sandwich, fries, and a refreshing bowl of watermelon. Everything was tasty and satisfying for a relaxed beach day.
One thing to note: as others have mentioned, it’s highly recommended to book in advance since it can get busy. The service might be a little slower during busier hours, but that’s completely understandable given how popular the spot is. The key is to be patient – the stunning view and relaxing atmosphere definitely make it all worth it.
Overall, a fantastic experience and a perfect way to spend our final day in Nice. Would highly recommend!
