I was here at lunch time on a Wednesday and was the only one dining in. Seemed like there were quite a few people coming in for takeout, though.
The place is clean and quiet, if not a bit dated on the decor. Its not dated like “ew gross, Im not sitting there”. Its more like “this reminds me of the diner I used to go to with my grandpa where he knew everyone there”.
I was given the choice to sit anywhere I wanted. Mary Ann, my waitress, was the sweetest little button! She was very quick and very accommodating, and gave off genuine kindness vibes! She even cued me in on a little gossip I picked up on while eavesdropping.
For lunch, I had the hot meatball sub with fries. Nothing to say but perfect.
I also ordered a pizza to take home later for dinner. It had great flavor and good crust, but it was a square pan which meant there were slices in the middle with no crust. Oof.
Total cost for two meals plus coffee was about $40.
Will be my go to place for lunch whenever I am in town again!

I love this place. They are training new staff so service was a bit off but not bad. The food is amazing, now I don’t do chicken much but my last three times there I had chicken dishes and they were awesome. The prices are always surprising, been there with a family of five for less then $200. I will keep going back here.

Excellent Italian restaurant with a wonderful owner and staff. The warm and inviting atmosphere is cozy, not fancy or pretentious it’s not a chain restaurant either. It’s more family than that. Their menu is extensive and they even have a couple of ways to make appetizers or entrees gluten free. My husband and I were here for our son and I to see where he grew up. I am completely gluten free, it’s always a challenge for me to eat in new places. However, they went above and beyond to make sure my food was made from scratch and delicious! Just look at these GF hand breaded fresh stuffed mushrooms in this picture! I was blown away by the hospitality. Excellent place!
Open Wednesday-Sunday!

I absolutely love their food! It’s Italian but they offer American food items as well. You CANT go wrong with their Italian dishes ! Amazing lasagna, Carbonara, pasta dishes like Fettuccine Alfredo with broccoli and or chicken, fra diavolo ( hot AND spicy red sauce), their meatballs and sausage are PERFECT, AND the American food is just as good like Grilled Pork chops, NY strip steak ( also done Italian style as Florentine or Pizzaoli ). Their prime rib is NOT huge globs of solid fat and a 4 ounce piece of actual meat! it’s Grilled to your liking. I prefer it rare because if it’s not cooked enough, they will accommodate your order!
By the way their Sunday buffet if they still have it is WELL WORTH IT!! They have baked chicken, fried chicken, chicken riggies, seafood riggies and Newburgh, herb baked potatoes , tomato pie, sausage and peppers, meatballs in sauce, salad bar, soups like New England clam chowder, corn chowder, chicken noodle or pastina, Italian wedding, beef vegetable, varied per week!! Dessert is apple crisp, banana bread, bread pudding, rice pudding, vanilla or chocolate pudding , Fruit salad, cake, and other surprises!! You can order dessert separately if they have a special, or general dessert like cheesecake with your choice of topping, cannolis and seasonal Italian pastries! They have various pie flavors including apple, cherry, blueberry and other seasonal berries, chocolate peanut butter, and other flavors!

Bring your appetite because if you leave there hungry or without a take out doggy bag, ITS YOUR FAULT!!!! Ive eaten there enough to brag about their food quality and flavor!! They have very friendly and knowledgeable staff who do their best to make you feel comfortable, satisfied and like family!!!!!

I was shown this place with a group of friends, we sat in the back in a booth past the bar that was secluded. The atmosphere up there was fun, relaxing and pleasant. Our waitress was kind and moved fast between us and working the bar. Our food came out all at once and we all enjoyed the different items we got. Will be going back again. The cheese garlic bread is a huge appetizer and can be shared. The chicken riggies were fantastic and a big helping.

I made my first visit here tonight, and while the food was just okay, the experience was great, and I will definitely be back!
The service was truly the highlight of the evening. Our waitress was incredibly attentive and friendly, checking in at just the right moments. The restaurant seemed to get quite busy while we were there, which tells me they are generally doing something right. I usually make a point of asking the staff for their recommendations, but I skipped that step this time; which I think that was my mistake.
My culinary journey started with the New England Clam Chowder. The flavor itself was quite good, rich and comforting, as I love myself some soup! However, it contained a surprising amount of potatoes. As someone trying to stick to a lower-carb, higher-protein diet, I spent a lot of time picking out the excess potatoes, which took away from the overall enjoyment.
For the main course, I chose the stuffed fish with a side of baked potato. The fish was okay, but nothing memorable. In fact, the simple, perfectly baked potato on the side stole the show and was actually better than the main entree, in my opinion.
My takeaway is that this was likely a one-off issue due to poor ordering on my part. The fantastic service and the overall popularity of the place definitely warrant a second chance. I am looking forward to returning soon and asking my attentive waitress’s advice next time on food recommendations!

Cute little trattoria in Little Falls. We stopped here during a road trip for lunch. Service was fast and very friendly. The food was good (very large portions, we had the Gnocchi and Chicken Giovanni) and the drink selection was a bit lacking (particularly in terms of beer), but it was great value for money, nonetheless. I wouldn’t mind returning and paying a bit more for the entrees if they ramped up the quality a bit.

Dined with family on a Friday night, not too crowded, service was very good. Lounge singer was spot on Tony Bennett and just enough not to overpower the 10-top table we had. Two points of improvement: I found shrimp tails in my chicken riggies. Sharon was wonderful enough to make me a new plate. Take out containers were Styrofoam and clamshell plastic, both of which are not recycled. Next time I’ll order smaller or bring my own take out containers.
