Reviews
They did an incredible job serving and waiting a large group of 15-20 people and was thoroughly impressed at timings of every dish. With a group our size, it took all in around 2-2.5 hours of dining.
The cocktails were good, ordered a boulevardier, but were nothing special. Typical house liquors. Like the lighting arrangements here.
I was also blown away by the cost. We dropped $271. We don’t believe it was worth that cost. You would have thought that kind of bill would have included a bunch of drinks, but it didn’t. I was very disappointed that my check arrived with a mandatory 18% tip on it. It was good service, but was bothered that I had no choice.
Plus the restaurant was ridiculously hot! I sweated through dinner. That really killed any sort of vibe.
I don’t see my wife and I ever going back.
Small thing: I would expect an expensive French restaurant to serve bread. Very surprised they didn’t.
POSITIVES:
Excluding the customer service experience, the food was great and good ambience (though I wish there was music). This service single-handedly worsened an otherwise great experience.
PHOTOS:
1. Mushrooms (side, pretty solid)
2. Salmon (cooked well and tasty, but slightly salty. Not the biggest fan of the hollandaise sauce, but that is personal preference)
3. Chicken (filling and tasty)
4. Risotto (tasty but small quantity. Better as an appetizer, not too filling)
5. Requested table, clearly unused and available (as it was throughout the night)
