Just did a pickup order not even a hour ago it was horrible we called to put a order in I got there and the lady never put in the order so I had to wait wasn’t to big of a deal until I got home to find my taco salad was cold the meat was tasteless my chips were stale I literally had a handful of chips didn’t even fill me up and I’m small,my boyfriend got beef and bean burritos they were runny hardly any beef it was all bean and tasted gross.i highly recommend if you are gonna eat at a Rudy’s it’s definitely worth the drive to just go to Davenport you get really big portions and the food is hot and you actually get a to go box for your food when you do a pick up order I literally just got my taco salad on a flimsy white plate with grease leaking all over the bag from the bottom not to mention while eating my fork scraped the bottom of this soaked paper plate and made a hole like how did I just receive my pick up order on a damn paper plate my fault though I should have just went to a taco truck or drove to Davenport.Yall workers should be ashamed of yourself serving out food this horrible and on paper plates.like why do we have styrofoam boxes for pickup orders if we’re just gonna throw it on a paper plate..this Rudy’s should be shut down I’ll definitely never order here maybe the food is better when you dine in but my gosh I haven’t received that horrible of food in a while.Steer Clear

I have been going here since I was a kid. They still have amazing food. I get the small combo. It comes with a taco, tostada, enchilada and beans and rice. Before tax it’s 13.00. I love the flavor of the beef. My service was good. Friendly and quick. Rudy’s is definitely a must when I am back in Moline.

I don’t think the food or people cooking the food are doing things the same as when I started eating Rudy’s somewhere around 1975 – 80 because it doesn’t taste anything like when my cousin Kim was cooking there!! Its still good food though and awesome people and awesome atmosphere!!

Very disappointed with coming here on my lunch break. Ordered to go and was handed my food on a soft plate with another on top… by time making back to work (5 mins) food was in bag, hole in the bottom of my plate due to getting soggy, tried removing and putting on a real plate and I was pealing up the paper plate with my food… get proper to go containers!!!! I wasted $15 on my lunch and couldn’t even eat it unless I wanted to eat paper plate as well!! Thanks for that inconvenience wish they would’ve told me they didn’t have to go containers!!

Absolute disappointment. For as expensive as the food is , it should be better. Just look at the order of tacos. In all the years I’ve been going to the different Rudy’s around the quad cities this one is the absolute worst for food quality but the staff is nice.

Not all Rudy’s Tacos restaurants are the same and each have unique hard shell tacos. This location, by far, has the best hard shell tacos because they make their shells fresh to order and that makes all the difference in the world. Perhaps the tacos could be even better dependent on the content of the taco, but these are great and the crunch of the shell without getting mushy by the time I get it home to eat is why these tacos are worth seeking out. #NomNomNom

Just stopped into the rock island location this evening. Hadn’t realized they close so early so we showed up just 30mins before closing time. Despite clearly trying to close the staff was very friendly and attentive. The food was fast and super fresh. Rudy’s atmosphere generally isn’t for me but it’s not bad. It’s just for somebody else.

A friend who dined in brought me home an order of tacos from Rudy’s last night and they were some of the worst tacos I’ve ever had. For $10+ dollars I got 3 tacos with a tiny amount of the blandest meat and the hardest, nastiest shells ever. Never again. I wouldn’t take any more of those tacos for free.
