1. I waited an hour for my food
2. The picture is how I got my food, with the fish all torn apart
3. The fish and shrimps had no flavor whatsoever

I have driven by here several times. My wife and I finally decided to try it out tonight. The food is good. I didn’t care for the stuffed crab – it lacked flavor.
Service is average. I noticed they had a lot of orders to go. The place is not that big but they are certainly consistently busy. I would come back again.

I love walking into Spurs memorabilia when I order my fish here. The fish itself is pretty good – my family and I love the fish. I recommend this place, definitely!

I had the Jerry favorite. Everything was well cooked and fresh, but the main reason for the 4 star rating is because the food lacked seasoning. Service was friendly and helpful, and the building looked clean and well maintained.

I’ve been going to get fish from Rudys for a very long time and I know its got to be the best fast sea food joint on the south side of San Antoino but when I order an extra peace ov fish to complete lunch for me and my wife with out spending extra for another full plate that we would probably throw away couse its to much for us to eat we can afford it but dont like wasting good food but if you don’t like to SELL an extra piece well don’t and say so couse we don’t like to give our hard earned money away I’ll let it go one or two times but it happens everything the extra piece of fish that I pay for is always apiece that is found at the bottom that got left there from the last cook if it happens again the Heath Department is coneing to see you. This is a very good place to get good food and we dont mind paying for it But come on Rudy.

My wife had the pleasure of taking me to this awesome place on the south side and we enjoyed it together! Man as we were leaving the line was out the door, and I was wondering why? Well, the proof is in the pudding like Grandpa used to say. The fish is great the fries are great all the condiments are available there right at the counter even all the to go things you need are available to the customer. The portions are exceptional especially for two people, heck we even brought leftovers home it was that much. Pricing is reasonable and we definitely will return because I didn’t get a chance to have the shrimp! Thanks for this awesome experience!

Rudy’s Seafood came as a complete surprise on an unplanned little side quest.
We knew it was a San Antonio staple, but hadn’t ever tried it before—we’re so glad we did!
The first thing we noticed was all of the signature Spurs mural work by my friend, Nik Soupè of Los Otros Murals. That in and of itself makes the place totally iconic. Walking in, we realized the love for our Spurs continues on, wall to wall.
The menu is impressive with tons of options, essentially every favorite fried seafood item you can imagine. All the classics, and the prices are decent. The food came out fast and was delicious. Just as expected. And the neighborhood folks are friendly and great for conversation.
All in all a wonderful time. My personal favorite part is the main sign over the building. Bearing its founder’s portrait in memoriam, it reads “What began just a dream became a Southside tradition.” Thanks for giving this to us, Rudy, and thanks for sharing your dream.

Love this place, been coming to Rudy’s Seafood for over 40 years since Rudy Ramirez was alive. I love the improvements. Rudy’s Seafood is managed by the wife of the owner which is very nice and very professional. Good job Roland best decision you could ever made. Love your food, a south side tradition and you have a lot of new loyal customers. Very clean and managed very well now ! Go spurs go! I would highly recommend Rudys Seafood.
