The food here is absolutely amazing! I used to order takeout, but after dining in for the first time, I can’t wait to go back. Everything was delicious and flavorful, and the tiramisu was outstanding!
The only downside was the reservation process. I had called ahead, but when I arrived, the front desk staff couldn’t find my information and asked me for all the details again. On top of that, my table wasn’t ready, so I had to wait. Hopefully, this can be improved because the dining experience itself was wonderful.

10/10 this restaurant is exactly what I love about small mom and pop restaurants in New Jersey. The food is outstanding and the atmosphere is relaxed and not stuffy. The staff is fantastic, the owner is really warm and welcoming and suggested some dishes that were SO delicious. We’ll definitely be back.

The only think I don’t like the way they presented the final bill at the table with a credit card machine and kind of give you an obligation to tip 20% or more
So if you spend 150.00 30.00 tip. I don’t make 30.00 an hour
At list start @ 10%
Server was very nice and very polite and deserved
But again restaurants got have a different approach on the tip

I just came from having dinner at Rudy’s. I have been there multiple times and have enjoyed the food however tonight I experienced very bad service. I had a 7;45 reservation and from the moment we sat down we were rushed to place our orders and were constantly interrupted by our waiter if we needed anything else. I even asked if we could have a few minutes to enjoy our sangria before we order dessert and he came back 10 minutes later to say they had to clean the coffee machines so if we wanted coffee we had to place the order. After doing so we were addressed by another individual who told us we had to leave because they had to do a deep cleaning and they were closing. This was 9:20 when their websites ans their door says they are open until 10. I said that to him and he proceeded to tell me that his partner did not have time to update the website or door. To me this seemed like a bunch of staff in a rush to go home since there were only two tables left. Not cool and it’s vey sad to treat customers who you rely on to keep your business thriving to treat your customers like that. I have met the owner and this individual definitely was not him but this individual just caused him to lose a customer and a good reference.

From the moment we walked into Rudy’s, the warm, welcoming vibe made us feel right at home. The service was friendly and attentive throughout — our server checked in often without being intrusive, and every dish arrived promptly and perfectly plated. We started with the garlic bread and a fresh antipasto, then dove into the rigatoni vodka and shrimp marsala — both were rich, flavorful, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. The portions were generous (plenty left over for lunch the next day), and the pasta was cooked al dente, with sauces that had just the right balance of herbs and spices. The cozy atmosphere, reasonable prices, and consistently great food make Rudy’s a go-to spot for Italian — we’ll absolutely be coming back soon.

Rudy’s is a wonderful Italian restaurant with a lot more than just Italian food. The place is always crowded but has plenty of room. They have an excellent bar and the waiters are quick and efficient you get fresh Italian bread and garlic knots as soon as you sit down.Prices are very reasonable for the quality of food.

Had lunch at Rudy’s today and everything was great. The food was delicious, great portion and the service was excellent. I love their garlic bread and the warm bread they serve with butter. Rudy’s is my go-to place when I want to have a good meal and food. This is probably my fourth time here and I keep coming back and recommending to everyone.
