I’ve been coming to this Rudy’s since 2010, and honestly it’s been a 5 star type of place until yesterday. I always got either their to-go tacos or custom made tacos. Yesterday I got an egg and chopped taco and a sausage and chopped taco. Within the hour after eating their food I got terribly sick. I had stomach pains that lasted for hours. Today in starting to feel better but anytime i eat anything now my stomach hurts. I’ll probably go see a doctor tomorrow if the pain persists. I’m not sure what they gave me, but I’m never coming back.

For years, Rudy’s has been my favorite BBQ restaurant. However, my last visit to them was disappointing and worrying. They no longer cheer for first time customers, their moist brisket is barely not dry, no more paper towels on the table. Don’t see the energy in their employees anymore. Empty tables during lunch hours. They seem to have lost the vibe. Writing this review in hope they could get their mojo back. After all, it has been my favorite restaurant for years. Sad to see what is happening.

Moist Brisket fresh is a life changer. Not gonna say it’s the greatest brisket on the planet but it is insanely delicious for a cheaper price than other places so I definitely come here more often than other spots.
