Wonderful experience dining here. The food, people and ambience was exactly what you’d expect from a Texan BBQ. You’re missing out if you don’t try! The Mac & cheese brisket as well as the chopped dishes are spectacular. They also give out sample while you’re waiting to order so you can decide for yourself. The BBQ sauce is delicious and they sell big bottles of it on site if you’re interested. See the pics for yourself!

I ordered food from this location for the first time. Actually, this is the first time I’ve ever ate at Rudy’s. I was recommended Restaurant by a coworker. I will honestly say that I am very disappointed. I received mac & cheese that was extremely dry and pretty much no Cheese on the Mac. I called another location and got an exchange. I usually don’t do this however I wanted to give them another chance. I’ve received a similar quart size of the mac & cheese. I asked to exchange it for potato salad. The potato salad. Is tasty but not enough for me to come back. Even the cat outside was cute but not cute enough for me to go back there sadly. At least the cat found an owner.

Basic atmosphere. Been here about 4x in past year or so. First time i asked for bbq sauce three times for my to go order. Got home,no sauce. The last time I went when I asked for sauce, they had gotten these little bitty cups of sauce.I mean , how can barbecue place place be chincy w their sauce? Potato salad is good. The macaroni and cheese has extremely large noodles. I think they’re like, proteiny or something, they’re just really big potato salad’s good. Not extremely generous with their bread either. I really like pickled onions. So when I get to go I just take the little bags next to their small continent selection , and I put onions in the pickle bag , which is kind of good. Of the 4 × 2 times the meat was delicious, tender, good mix of fat in me.One time it was so fat , it was really gross. And I guess the other must have been okay , but it didn’t stand it out where another. Good barbecue joint, just sometimes hit-and-miss and I wouldnt eat in. My cars more comfortable. I think it’s nice that they try to do a lot for the puppy food bank.

Food is good, has something for everyone. My boys loved the brisket. I enjoyed the cream corn and the stuffed potato. Ended with a yummy banana pudding. Everything was yum. Would definitely go again.

I really wanted to like this place, but the experience started off on the wrong foot. The girl who took my order had one of the worst attitudes I’ve ever encountered—no smile, no courtesy, just flat-out rude. She basically threw the food at me like she couldn’t care less. And when that’s your first point of contact, it sets a really bad tone for everything else.
The food was cold, which didn’t help. And the A/C? Freezing. It was so uncomfortable I had to rush through my meal just to get out of there.
The one saving grace? The BBQ sauce. It’s legit. I liked it enough to buy a bottle to take home.
All in all, the flavor had potential, but the service and environment really dragged the whole experience down. Don’t think I’ll be rushing back anytime soon.

Came here for lunch with the family the other day and had a wonderful time. We hadn’t been here in a while so we got a little bit of everything, family really enjoyed the pulled pork. Don’t know if that’s been a staple there for a while, but it was to die for.Food was hot and fresh restaurant was clean. They also have the best fountain Dr Pepper I have ever tasted. What more could you ask for we will definitely be coming back to this location more often.

It was tasty. They don’t have mac and cheese anymore though. But the cream corn was nice. Pork ribs was also sold out when I went (for Sunday dinner) but they did have some pretty tasty baby back ribs. Pretty standard.
Relatively small-ish restaurant i’d say, but clean, well-lit. Waitress was patient with us and not pushy at all.

I decided to stop by on the way back to work for a quick bite in need to go area.
The girl behind the counter was friendly, I placed my order and I waited.
I asked how the peach cobbler was, she said it tasted better heated up. First sign.
I got my food, quarter pound of lean brisket, a sausage link and an individual serving of peach cobbler and a large, so-called sweet tea.
First, the sausage link was lukewarm, like it had just been reheated. Not really any taste or flavor.
Secondly, the brisket was lean like I asked for, there was a good amount of bark, but that bark tasted more like charcoal than the caramelization of seasonings of brisket. That was not good.
Thirdly, the peach cobbler, which was an individual serving, looked good at first, but had the overpowering taste of cinnamon. Beyond the cinnamon, it tasted very bland. And cold.
Lastly, if you say you serve sweet tea, make it sweet, this is Texas.
Sorry, but it’ll be awhile before I come back here.

Rudy’s was recommended by several locals, so we tried it. We were put off initially by its location…next to a gas station. Ordering was confusing as several staff members waited on our order. We opted for the sausage, brisket and ribs. It was good except for the brisket which was dry and lacked flavor. The delicious bbq sauce at our table saved the meal as we doused the brisket with it. We overheard a customer ask for a “moist piece of brisket “. Should have done the same. We also raised our eyebrows at the cost. Still, I’m glad we went and saw what the hype was about.

Rudy’s Country Store and BBQ provided a warm welcome as we stepped in, emanating an authentic Texas BBQ ambiance. The brisket, ribs, and sausage were all exceptionally delicious, but the standout for me was the flavorful sausage. The sides, including coleslaw, potato salad, and creamed corn, were spot-on—especially loved the texture of the creamed corn. The friendly staff added to the overall positive experience, making us feel right at home. I’m definitely planning a return visit for more of their delectable offerings.
