Fantastic BBQ. I usually get the brisket, turkey, sausage, creamed corn. Really good! The creamed corn is a little too thick. If they could make the cream a little thinner, the corn would be perfect!

Came here Friday night for takeout of their chopped brisket potatoes. These were some amazing potatoes cooked just right, not over cooked and dry. The chopped brisket had a wonderful flavor, good amount, cooked just right. The peach cobbler is also delicious

It’s Rudy’s, so expectations dor southern food is a must. Ive always liked amd this didn’t disappoint. My Brisket was a little cold and i wish it was a little warmer. Overall we had fun and good time. We will go back again. Floors could be a little cleaner.

The food Is great and the atmosphere is nice. There is one thing I would like to point out. When you get the moist brisket sometimes it’s really juicy and falls in your mouth. Other times it’s harder even though it’s the same brisket. Probably one side gets more juicy? It’s a hit or a miss but still great.

I only came here for the free food for a seminar I was attending. I have to be honest. I’ve been to multiple Rudy’s locations in Arizona and Texas. Not to be rude but One thing is consistent…. Rudy’s has the worst BBQ I have ever had in my life. When the pickled carrots is better than the brisket. You have a problem!! The potato salad and the beans taste bland.

The BBQ is really good at Rudy’s especially when I didn’t have to cook my own. But on this visit, the guy slicing the meat had a bad attitude. He sliced my brisket (to go) removing almost all the bark. I asked to at least throw some burnt ends in my order because that is where the flavor is and we like that part. I didn’t mind paying for a little more weight to get what we wanted. He acted like I asked for something unacceptable! It was obvious, as his body language and mannerisms showed it. Listen, if I’m paying for anything you put on the scale to weigh for “by the pound” price? Let the customer have what they want! I didn’t want anything free! There is something seriously wrong here. Maybe I’ll take my money and patronage elsewhere from now on. Who needs that from anyone at any business! I sure didn’t appreciate this. And there were only about a half a dozen people in the whole restaurant! So it wasn’t like they were crazy busy. I almost walked out without buying anything. If that were my restaurant? I would want to know about this immediately. But I didn’t make a scene or cause issues at that moment. I just paid for my order and left. Sorry, but that’s just not acceptable.

It took me several years to return to Rudy’s because the chicken was dry (at another location). An event brought me to this location and it did not disappoint! This location was spacious and clean. Their green chili stew was amazing! The meat and poultry were not dry, they were moist and flavorful! Their 3 bean salad and other sides were delicious too. I didn’t get a chance to take any photos! I will have to return soon and get some bbq sauce to take home.

Called early morning and asked if there was brisket available thinking they had meats all day. They advised there was. Arrived and asked for brisket and they said the only brisket they had was the chopped stuff for the breakfast.
