The people at the register keep the areas clean and are very polite.
The meat is delicious, I had the moist brisket with the sissy sauce. Perfect and tender.
Or course, the brownies caught my eyes. Chewy and fudgy just as described.

Rudy’s Country Store is hands down one of the best barbecue spots around. From the moment you walk in, the aroma of slow-smoked meats tells you that you’re in for something special. The brisket is melt-in-your-mouth tender with that perfect smoky bark, the sausage has just the right snap and seasoning, and the turkey is surprisingly juicy and flavorful (not an easy thing to pull off).
Their ribs are fall-off-the-bone delicious, the chicken is perfectly seasoned, and the pork is rich and smoky with every bite. What I love most is that no matter what you order, the quality is consistent — you can taste the care that goes into every cut of meat.
The atmosphere feels like a true Texas-style country store — casual, welcoming, and perfect for families or friends to gather around a table and dig into some authentic BBQ. The staff is friendly, the portions are generous, and the flavor is unforgettable.

Bbq was good. Place was nice and clean. Service was great. Food was hot and fresh. Ordered the brisket and sausage w/jalapeño and cheese. Beans and cream corn . It was DELICIOUS. You gotta try it out..

First time visit. Not much atmosphere or service really. The food is good and decently priced, better than other bbqs near by actually. The staff all was great and seemed genuinely happy to see us. Jennifer is a great representative for your restaurant and would make a fine employee for any company. Highly recommend!

Today the wife and I stopped by Rudy’s BBQ at 20806 North Freeway. With a surprising 4.6 star google review, we decided to give it a go. We know Rudy’s from our time in Colorado and we’re not impressed then but hoped this real Texas Rudy’s would change our mind. It failed to do so. Not just a little but crash and burn. Rudy’s leans into the country barn rustic theme. I am a big fan of their set up. You order à la carte style which gets pricey quick if you don’t agree on meats. The jalapeño sausage link was actually great! Plenty of heat packed into it just the way I like. The moist brisket was possibly the worst brisket I have ever received at any BBQ joint. Absolutely no flavor and a bit of a chew to the texture is just poor BBQ. The turkey was cooked well but seemed only seasoned with salt and a lot of it. The cream corn should probably be renamed to cream and corn. The texture felt very off with this side and also lacked any flavor. How they received this google rating is beyond me but I highly advise avoiding this Rudy’s.

Absolutely delicious! The beef brisket was one of the best I’ve ever had—tender and full of flavor. The pork ribs were also fantastic, especially with their special sauce. Great decor, friendly service, and everything came out fast. Highly recommend!

As a BBQ chain restaurant Rudy’s is above average. I ordered the 1/2 pound brisket, 1/2 bird, pulled pork and brisket with Jalapeno n cheese sausage. The Atmosphere was game day Sunday Texans won only complaint was the chicken was a little dry but overall great place to eat on gameday.

This place has absolutely, some of the best Moist Brisket Ends. Super moist, well seasoned and worth the drive to Houston. I purchased the Moist Brisket and 1lb. of Baby Back Ribs as well as some corn and Banana Pudding (didn’t care for the pudding) but everything else was fine.

Rudy’s never disappoints. This is the 3rd one I’ve been to and always love the flavor of the meats. Great Texas atmosphere. We had the brisket, sausage and pulled pork. Accompanied it with excellent Cole slaw and Rudy’s beans washed down with a Shiner Bock beer. Great dinner!!!
