The food was excellent. The taco al pastor was very tasty. The flautas were excellent. The pork chop was juicy, and the steak was tender.

Good food, actually very heavy food, service was ok: we had to remind the waitress multiple times for the request we made to get red sauce and some onions. The atmosphere was very south american. For the price and food it is good place to eat.

Delicious fresh food. Homemade tortillas, made fresh for my meal. So glad I stumbled upon this eatery. Will definitely visit again! 5 star.

They open late which is a huge plus for people work late night. They’re welcoming even at close to closing time. And food was made fairly quickly and with no comprises in the taste.
Ordered chicken tacos and fish tacos. I’d say fish tacos should have been eaten there and not taken away, which made them soggy. But chicken remained super hot and soft.

Food was delicious and I’d highly recommend this place.

Good was good. Would recommend for those who like to try authentic South American food. If you’re into tex-mex this isn’t the place for you. The place has a “distinct” smell (probably for all the cooking and exhaust fans not working properly). I’ll come back, but for take out only.

Phenomenal food the two times that I have been here. My best advice is eat there or heat your food in the oven or a pan if you can. Don’t microwave it. The homemade tortillas are delicious when they aren’t soggy. The people are sooo nice and their store is better stocked than any other place that I have been to. Definitely will be my go to!

Small place with great food and prices!
My plates in the pictures are not how they came, sorry. I took one of daughters tacos and gave her some of my beans.

Pictures this: two famished students have just been ravaged by their finals. Their room is filthy, they’ve been pulling all nighters to study, and they barely have energy to stagger back to their dorm and pack before the school evicts them. But there’s a beacon of hope; a light that shines at the end of the tunnel; a fire that roars in the face of adversity. For us, that came in the form of Rudy’s Cafe. From the moment we walked in, we immediately got good vibes from the cute little decorations on the wall and the cozy booth seats. We began our meal with complementary chips (very tasty, recommend the green sauce) and excellent service. We ordered the quesabirria tacos for 14 dollars, which came with a side of guacamole? In this economy? There was a delicious, hearty consome on the side as well where you could dunk the crisp tacos wrapped around the juicy birria meat to get the most heavenly, tangy and warm flavour that just burst inside our mouths. We devoured the tacos in no time, and I can only describe Rudys as a culinary odyssey, an uphill rollercoaster, ambrosia served straight from the birria taco gods… It was the perfect meal to end an otherwise abysmal week.

We went here after going to Old Hights Brewing for dinner, and the food is fantastic. Very simple but friendly atmosphere. Great service. Right next to a grocery store that I assume is theirs also. Had terrific pupusas, enchiladas, and the El Especial plate was tremendous also. A lot of food for reasonable prices and a wide range of choices on the menu. Highly recommend!
