An excellent bar with a great selection of craft beers on tap at affordable prices. With every beer, you get a free hot dog on the side! The staff are very friendly, and if you can’t decide which beer to pick, they’ll let you have a taste first. The back area is more chilled with more tables, making it easier to talk, while it’s a bit louder and more crowded by the bar. Definitely recommend a visit!

No frills, no fancy — just pure, classic New York energy. It’s giving old-school, dive bar, iconic local spot… and I loved it ✨

The drinks are super affordable (which in NYC is a win ), and the free hot dogs? Legendary. Simple but hits the spot every time

Iconic! Super affordable, prompt service, always a drink + a hotdog and a great bar vibe. Cash only and 100% worth it. Spent half the day there instead of just a lunch snack stop. The good company also contributed.

If I could, I’d give it more than five stars.
Rudy’s is the perfect hideout on busy 9th Avenue — a place where you can grab a reasonably priced draft pint and soak up the vibe of a classic, no-nonsense pub. Rock tunes blast from the speakers, locals fill the booths, and the atmosphere is pure New York.
The cherry on top? The free grilled hot dogs they hand out to customers — a thoughtful touch when you need something solid with your beer. And they’re surprisingly delicious!
Rudy’s is an institution (almost 100 years lf history and still rocking strong)
Whether you live in the city or are just passing through, you can’t beat the experience of Rudy’s.

Another old time bar. Great prices. I like the lamps they have. It’s a dive bar but a clean one. They give free hot dogs with your drink. We didn’t have any, so I can’t rate the food.

What a great establishment. So iconic. 1pm it was full but not packed. The deals are real. They’re real. It’s lovely.
Cash only.

Hot dog with a beer, what a great combo! With a pitcher, you get four hot dogs. They have ketchup and mustard but no mayo (we may or may not have brought our own). Fyi for new folks going, you do need to ask for the hot dog even though it’s free. I imagine it’s cos they don’t want to give out hot dogs to people who won’t actually eat them. It’s also cash only (so I usually tip with each transaction for simplicity).

Beer was sooo good! Hotdogs delish, and bartender was so friendly and sweet. We spent $5 dollars a person for beer and hotdog. where do you find deals like that nowadays? Will most definitely be back

Very fun bar with lots of beers and free hot dogs. I must say the hot dogs are not the best I’ve ever eaten haha, but if you’re hungry you might as well try one. Always fun nights in this bar.

Listen, the prices are astounding. The hotdogs are good. If you go here there is a 50/50 chance you’re gonna have an amazing time. The other possibility is you get the 2 worst bartenders who skip over you for 15 minutes standing at the bar.

My original visit had me wait a little bit on Saturday, but a Hispanic bartender made it 10000% worth it. He is the best bartender at the whole establishment. Regularly asking what we wanted, making mixed drinks (would research rare drinks he didn’t hear about and offered to make them) and ensuring our hotdogs were good! That man alone should be in charge of everyone else. It was packed, but he kept track of everybody’s mood.

The final day I went, I got right at the bar, it was decently filled, not packed, seeing the bartenders serve other people, one of them yelled at me for moving my hands signaling “What the hell”.
I would never dare raise my voice, even less at random guests. The bartender asked me to settle down, if I was okay (assumed I was drunk, which unfortunately I was not) and told me to wait my turn, which really ticked me off.

This was the final night of the trip, I looked forward to Rudy’s all weekend, convinced the wife to come with me, planned on staying there a while (took out more money at their atm) and those bartenders destroyed the mood of our trip.
