The best fish sandwich I have ever had. That is really saying something since I eat them a lot. This was outstanding perfectly cooked fresh mahi-mahi grilled, nice romaine lettuce, homemade tartar sauce and a tomato with a really fresh bun. A side of the cucumber salad which was also delicious. Our waitress Julia, was wonderful. Excellent service, a delightful, funny and friendly young lady. Loved our experience at lunch. I would definitely come back.

Waited about an hour for a table but well worth the wait. There were five of us and we were greeted by the most pleasant server who had a great sense of humor. We ordered mussels and crab dip to start and both were amazing. The menu was full of great choices and we decided on pecan-encrusted flounder, shrimp scampi, crab cake sandwich, jambalaya, and a cheese steak. All were good and the jambalaya was stuffed with mussels, scallops, crawfish, and shrimp. The flounder was huge and the shrimp scampi was delicious and so plentiful that half of it went home with us. I do need to point out that the slaw is the best I’ve ever tasted. Just sweet enough. There was no room for dessert but i will definitely be back for the banana cream pie. I can’t recommend this place enough. You will not be disappointed

French Dip and the 3 pig BBQ sandwich was great! We always have the Asian Shrimp. Food is always great! Good service, outdoor seating and dock to pull up on your boat. Good time great food and great service!

Good food and fast service. Was very busy when visited with a 45 minute wait to be seated but located on the water along Evan’s St. makes for a good wait as you can stroll and go through shops/views. Ruddy Duck Tavern has plenty of indoor as well as outdoor seating for beautiful views of the water. The service was quick and friendly and the restaurant was well kept and beautiful decorated. Only thing was that half the items we wanted to order were not available but we were very satisfied with our second choices as their food is delicious.

A great place to enjoy local seafood and a friendly atmosphere. The staff was attentive and we were served super fast! I enjoyed the calamari and fried oysters special.

Food was great. Waiter Toby was awesome! We ordered hush puppies and Cajun fish bites for appetizer, pecan crusted flounder, fried frog legs, and super seafood platters for entrees. Everything was so good. We got key lime pie and rice pudding to go. Will definitely be back.

The food was great! Our one complaint was that there were minimal precautions being taken of spreading people out and using one use items. For example they just brought us a bottle of ketchup. The place was busy which is good during the times we are living in.
The black bean dip is odd, I would pass on it next time. My friend said the ahi tuna sandwich was really good!
The only vegetarian option was the margarita pizza but I would highly recommend it!
Also don’t get a margarita here, they are really sour

Reasonable wait time. Started with the chicken nacho appetizer and it was delicious. Waitress wasn’t very friendly but did her job. Food was slow to come out but everything was delicious! Would eat here again when visiting the area!

We were told there would be a 15 to 20 minute wait. However, we were seated in about 3 minutes.
We sat outside on the veranda with a nice view of the intercoastal waterway.
We were surprised at how quickly our food arrived. I thought it would take a while since the restaurant was so busy.
I had the French dip. It had high quality beef. I did not chew a single piece of fat or grizzled. Absolutely delicious.
My wife had the tomato bisque. She raved about it.
Our server was very attentative and prompt.
We will return.

This was our first time to Ruddy Duck Tavern and it was wonderful. There was a wait but no issue hubby got us beer from the bar and we waited out back on the floating dock and watched the boating festival (not sure what it was exactly maybe jet boat races) anyway it was really cool to see. Received a text when our table was ready. We had the nachos, burger and fries, shrimp basket, and jambalaya. Everything came out piping hot and it was all delicious. Can’t wait to back and try something else on their menu.
